They only will target innocent pashtuns in KPK/FATA.

Terrorist activities will surely rise but again this is a impact when you hit someone extremely harder

‘WE WILL BURN ISLAMABAD AND LAHORE’

PAKISTANI TALIBAN WARN GOVERNMENT TO PREPARE FOR THE WORST, AND THREATEN ATTACKS ON PUNJAB PROVINCE AND FEDERAL CAPITAL.
The government’s “palaces” in Islamabad and Lahore will soon be burnt to ashes, said the spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan following the launch of a military operation in North Waziristan.

Refusing to comment on the hundreds of reported casualties in the operation so far, Shahidullah Shahid said the TTP blamed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the provincial government of Punjab for the loss of “innocent” lives. “We hold Nawaz Sharif government and Punjab establishment fully responsible for losses of life and property of tribal Muslims as a result of this operation,” he said. “The retaliatory activities by mujahideen will make you a symbol of abomination by the wish of God,” he added. “To rid us of the clutches of these tyrants, we invite all Baloch, Sindhis, Pakhtuns and Islam-loving Punjabis to unite with us.”

The TTP spokesman said the government’s decision to launch the operation had violated the Pakistani people’s wishes for peace. “The Government of Pakistan and the infidel Army have rubbed in the dust the wishes of Pakistani people for peace. They have launched the Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan on the directions of their western masters,” he alleged.

“Now mujahideen of Islam and the Pakistan government are pitted against each other all over the country,” he said, adding, “Any important government installation or institution could become the target of mujahideen.”

Shahid added: “We also want to make it clear to the rulers of Pakistan that you are killing tribal children [by launching this operation], and, by God, we will soon shake your palaces in Islamabad and Lahore and burn those to ashes. We are eyeing victory with the help of God, and you will become a joke for the world.”

The TTP spokesman also claimed that the time for talks had now passed. “Keep this in mind that you will wish to hold dialogue and seek peace. But [when you do], it will be too late.”

TTP SPOKESMAN CLAIMS THE MILITANTS ARE READY FOR BATTLE AND WILL TARGET FOREIGNERS AND MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES.
All foreigners should leave Pakistan or face the consequences, the spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban said on Monday, less than a day after the government announced Operation Zarb-e-Azb to free North Waziristan of the militants.

“We know the Pakistani government was not serious in offering peace talks, as a military operation has been launched against the Taliban with its approval,” said Shahidullah Shahid, the spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Speaking to Newsweek from an undisclosed location, Shahid said any foreigners who chose to remain in Pakistan would only have themselves to blame. “I, on behalf of the TTP, would like to warn all foreigners, airlines, and multinational companies to leave Pakistan. [If they don’t] they will have only themselves to blame for damage caused to their properties or staff,” he said.

“The TTP is ready to face the military, since we understood that sooner or later, this would happen. We are prepared for battle,” Shahid told Newsweek by phone. “But this time our fighters will bring the battle inside the territory of Pakistan and our prime target will be foreigners, multinational companies and airlines, along with Pakistani government installations,” he added.

Referring to the failed peace talks, Shahid said the government had failed to implement its plans. “We were always ready [for talks], but they [government] never was, and never will be.”

I wonder how in bughze muaweya , in the opposition to Punjab, we become partners of these savages Taliban. Man is really a prejudiced animal. We hate Punjab so we support Taliban! This is against humanity and objectivity.

My yesterday’s post about possible outcomes of N.Waziristan Operation.
Many people mistook me for being in favor of talks with the Taliban or doing nothing against them. That is not correct. I believe talking to terrorists has never been useful and I always remained critical of past and recent efforts of the state to hold such talks. However, I see the present operation as a reactive and retributive policy of Pakistan Army. For rooting out the menace of terrorism from Pakistan once and for all, the

              following needs to be done:

              1. There has to be a fundamental change in the strategic calculus and policy of the Pakistan army. It has to change its policy towards Afghanistan, India and Saudi Arabia. Unless it does so, the army will keep on making distinctions between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ terrorists. And as long as the army keeps on making this distinction – going after the ‘bad’ and supporting the ‘good’ terrorist – the problem of terrorism will continue in Pakistan. Army has to learn the simple logic that all terrorist groups are brothers-in-arms, unified by their common ideology of terror, and they do not make any distinctions amongst themselves – no matter how the army might categorize them.

              2. Only this fundamental change of policy would result in the possibility of a national policy and consensus to go after the terrorists all over Pakistan. As Prof. Ijaz Khan has put it, the PM (civilian leadership) has to come forward and announce War on Terrorism. That would need a country wide proactive Military action against terrorists of all brands – the ‘good’ as well as the ‘bad’ ones. Operation in NWA will be meaningful and effective only if it is part of the larger action against terrorists and their groups throughout Pakistan. That would entail taking on the sectarian (Saudi Supported) terrorist groups as well as those created and nurtured by the army for fighting its dirty war against India (Kashmir). That would also mean a massive and comprehensive operation against these groups in the plains of Punjab and Karachi. Considering the question of terrorism in Pakistan as a Tribal issue or insurgency and acting to just destroy some unwanted (or ‘bad’) terrorists and ordinary Pakhtuns from Waziristan will rather than solving create new challenges and increase the destructive power of the Terrorists.

              3. Since I do not see the above mentioned policy change in the strategic culture of Pakistan army, the present operation in NWA is nothing but part of a reactive and retributive policy that will only result into the indiscriminate killing of civilians, destruction of their property, displacement of the whole Utmanzai Wazir and Dawar tribes of NWA for an indefinite period of time and not a single terrorist worth his name will be taken out – if past operations in South Waziristan and other agencies of FATA are any guide.

This is a sensible post not like the ones calling names and personal attacks.
I think if the Waziristan operation is done on the pattern of Swat, results will be what we see in Swat. Both bad and good Taliban are out.

Also now it is not the time of General Zia. Army following Zia is now changing. Musharraf is totally secular. Raheel is not a fundamentalist like Zia. More than 75% army is now professional army fighting for Pakistan not for Islam. This way the good Taliban and strategic depth supporters are diminishing in Pakistan.

Another mouth-piece and lap-dog of the Punjabi Army. The Punjabi Army never changes. Its interests are the only constant in that filthy country. And it can use anything Islam or secularism to keep it like that.

Too much barking by a domesticated she-dog for her masters (both from the east and the west).
