    MIRANSHAH: Outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Sunday said that North Waziristan Agency (NWA) was being targeted by the Jet fighters bombings, but the TTP was still serious and sincere for the process of talks like before, Geo News reported.

    In a statement issued to media, TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that TTP started talks with all seriousness and sincerity in the larger interest of Islam and Pakistan and never adopted any non-serious attitude during the process of talks. He further said that all necessary measures including the declaration of unilateral ceasefire were taken for the creation of congenial atmosphere of talks.

    He reiterated that North Waziristan was being targeted by Jet fighters bombings, but the TTP was still serious and sincere for continuation of the process of talks and added, “Our stand in this regard is like an open book.

    I never thought TTP would collapse this earlier.

    They already have lost the numbers leaving only the elite members whom i am sure won't go for suicide blasts.They have lost the suicide attack wing.this is the reason they are targetting Security forces with IED's and getting help from foriegn fighters.

    The reason today are that the local doesnt join them anymore since TTP has also started kidnapping and robberies in the past which has disturbed their image infront of the innocent tribals being fooled by them for Jihad.

      Even now,I believe the Govt should still go for peace deals than operation.I know with the present strength of TTP.it will hardly take a week or half another for them to clean whole of NW since 70% of the population has already left and the regions like Datta khel are already emptiesed.

      Though unlike kayani,Raheem Sharif is very agressive and doesnt believe in peace deals with terrorists

        Talks between the Pakistani Taliban and the government has no future. Nawaz Sharif will never agree to the establishment of Shariah law in Pakistan, and the Mujahideen will never put up with the current political system.

          Which you can negotiate with Nawaz? On the surrender of Islamabad and on the transfer of all power in Pakistan to the Taliban.
