It is hebrew(יוֹסֵף thats how its written pronounced Yosef) word you are right and that is very old,(I am not a fan of linkage of pakhtuns to jews but just incase it pakhtuns are one of the lost tribes this yousafzai will make a lot more sense than esapzai) but as I said i am not disputing what you are saying, that is why I called it interesting but I will still like to see some evidence. I did try to do a bit of research but couldn't find anything

If I agree with you we w'd both be wrong.

If that is to be the case (Pakhtun being of jewish ancestry) then we should have many pure pashto words containing "F", which is not the case, and where you also know that many pashtuns still struggle while they pronounce words containing "F".

Click the word Aspasioi. While I wrote it as Aspzai.

Eusaphzai peera, first off the strongest proof against the so-called jewish theory is that Pashto is an eastern iranian language. The closest relative to pashto is ossetian and the pamiri tajik dialects. Second of all, scholars such as gangovsky have discussed the hepthalite and scythian element of Pashtuns. These are documented works that you can find in universities.

Don't much rely on wiki, use your own analysis also, since in some cases, being local, we know better than them.
