First off, that would never happen since Pashtun claim is only on the North-Western part of Pakistan (like KPK and Northern Baluchistan) second, Pashtuns and Punjabis are different people so it would never work, both have different views on politics and culture and Punjabis are more liberal for muslims while Pashtuns are hardcore practising muslims.

So no i would not accept it nor would it work, since both Pashtuns and Punjabis would fight for political power.

I wouldn't mind the entire world joining into one big nation, but one thing is for sure, not without Pashto having an officially national status(national language). I personally would rather live a poor life and have our language a national status, than live a rich life, where the status of Pashto is more or less non-existent. I don't even care if Pashto is lingua-franca, because that is op to the individual person to decide. The problem starts when the government or a country disregard Pashto and denies it status along side other languages as equal.

I am no nationalist or any other extremist, but Pashto is our symbol of identity. Culture changes over time, ideologies changes over time, countries can get changed and even ethnicities may get mixed, but what can stay as a symbol of identity is our language.

If a country doesn't represent one's language, why would that particular country mean more to one, than any other country. For me a country have meaning to one, when the country shapes around one's identity.

So to answer your question clearly, then I wouldn't mind as long Pashto get a national status. I don't even mind if it shares it status with other languages, as long the status are equal.

A good idea. But on the basis of equality. A con-federal type arrangement in which every unit has autonomy as for the choice of official language of the unit and control over resources. Only foreign affairs, currency, defense, and communication will be handled by the center. The military composition will have to be changed to give representation to the component ethnic groups proportionate to their population size.

As a matter of suggestion, there will be two regional lingua-franca; Dari and Urdu-Hindi.

English as a global lingua-franca will have an important status in higher education but will not be used for early education.

I think such an arrangement will be beneficial for all.

But you cannot achieve it by force. Only voluntary unification motivated by mutual interests and cultural en-richness, neighborhood feelings, etc. will work.

Pashtuns and punjabis are living together since a long tym bro. Can you tell me any time period when pashtuns and punjabis were not under one empire except from 1850 to 1893 before that they were together during durrani mughal ghaznavid, mamluks etc.

You are absolutely sick , what i suggested u earlier was go and start ur research from pashtun areas of khyber kurram and orakzai and u will get the answer there about loy afghanistan.

Brother first of all no body can treat anybody like trash, if u r making up ur mind by reading some racist comments over here by some afghan pashtuns against punjabis then i guess u need to open ur eyes, it doesnt matter what people write over here or in articles, what matters is the reality,
people write alot against farsiwans, punjabis, hindus but the thing is at the end of the day these people dont care what people wirte about them, they know what their position is in the society,
do u think pashtuns have more punjabi frends or farsiwan frends, pashtuns can become a frends of punjabis but i ve never heard of farsiwans being frends of pashtuns,
The reality is islamabad , lahore rawalpinid where pashtuns and punjabis live together and are in peace, have u ever heard of pashtuns liivng iin balkh badakshan, or other tajik dominated areas of afghanistan. the answer is no.
