This is the most stupid thread. Pashtuns as a whole will never become Punjabized although there would be some influence of the Indic culture due to political reasons and geographical proximity with the Indic people. Even if they give up their language they will retain their identity as a group with distinct origin.

Also, the baloch tribal structure is the same as Pashtuns and the clothing is basically the same, not to mention most Baloch carry the Irano-Afghan phenotype but i will leave anthropology out of this.
Well i'm neither a Pashtun nor a Baloch so i'll take your word, i'm just a Hazarawal but i don't think Baloch dress exactly like Pashtuns.

Like here's the Khan of Kalat wearing a cap similar to the Sindhi topi

But all of Baluchistan was part of Afghanistan at one point and and was called "Godar" by Pashtuns because it bordered with water. Afghanistan was not always landlocked.
was there any afghanistan as a region or empire before 1800's..answer is no,, also balochistan has mostly remained independant

Babur referenced the region of Afghanistan during the 16th century.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Pashtuns are too big and too conscious of their distinct identity and history for any other ethnicity in the region to be able to assimilate. Moreover, Pashto is a live active language with a lot of literature produced in it every year. Just surf facebook for Pashto pages and you will find innumerable. Pashtuns just want to have the advantage of their geographical location to maintain economic and cultural relations with both South Asia and Central Asia. And that benefits other groups as well.

tripledouble Kandahari cap became popular as balcohi cap among balochs, balochs then spread it to sindh. So originally its not from sindh, but kandahar .

I personally think its a sindhi cap and maybe the baloch brought it back from sindh since they practically colonized the area. Kandaharis wear them since they are more closer to Baluchistan. Although hats are not that popular among Pashtuns anyways.
