The problem is that it´s not in people´s hands but in the hands of government and Pakis are backed and protected by NATO. How many times they have closed the region and left us back? Pakistan is a criminal state. What we want doesn´t count that much since the border is accepted by more than 240 nations. Even India have accepted it. Only the Afghan government doesn´t accept it. Non-Pashtuns of Afghanistan accepted it also. So only Pashtuns on Afghan side and some tribes close to border on the otherside are left. Majority of Pashtuns in Pakistan are already eating Pakistanyat 3 times a day

lol Pakistan's just securing it's borders, no different from how America secures it's borders from Mexico; just because the US fences the Tex-Mex border doesn't mean they've provoked a war neither should this effort by Pakistan provoke a war; Pakistan and Afghanistan can't afford another war, and Afghanistan know's pretty well that the Pak army is in another league; it would be like Chelsea(Pakistan) vs Swansea city(Afghanistan).

'misuse', fencing your border isn't misusing your power, we're not invading Afghanistan nor are we dporting their refugees, there are still over 2 million Afghans in Pakistan, and there are 'little Afghanistans' in Karachi & Islamabad which are 'no-go zones'.
Many of these refugees obtained Pakistani ID cards and passports with help of ANP(who blackmails the government with the ethnic card).

The Taliban in Karachi are made up mostly of non-Pakistanis, there are some Pakistanis but mostly from the tribal areas.

They do control street gangs, my aunt was assaulted and her house was robbed by one of these gangs, so was another relatives house; Karachi used to be really safe but after the 70s, drugs, weapons and migrants fled into to the city(no offense to anybody), the problem is that the gov can't crackdown against them for political reasons because the ANP & PMAP will play the ethnic card to stop any operation, so we have to be politically correct not to offend to anybody.

Many of these areas in Karachi and Islamabad are no go zones, slogans like 'Pakistan murdabad' are sprayed all over the houses and the people call other Pakistanis 'daalkhor' and Pakistani women 'chindakh'(female frog, because they're seen as easy/****ty).

Even in Quetta there are certain areas where Pakistani-hazaras can not go.

Bengal_Tiger: Most of the violence in Karachi is due to the MQM. The ANP are in fact relative newcomers to the Karachi political scene with no major presence there until a few years ago. Plus they have been ousted from these areas by these militants. You are clearly dishonest and spreading false information.

                      1. Most of the violence in Karachi is because of the MQM (which he probably supports, or he might be an Indian-origin Mohajir) which he conveniently omits.

                      2. After completely not mentioning that fact (it is like omitting that the Taliban are fighting in Afghanistan when talking about violence in that country) he then makes claims about slogans such as "Pakistan murdabad", being spread on the walls. Most likely nonsense since even the TTP are themselves a pro-Pakistan organization that say they will fight India if it attacks Pakistan.

I think the admin here should keep a careful eye on this character, as Pakistani nationalists should of course be allowed to express their opinions here but not be allowed to spread totally false lies on the internet and use this forum to defame Pakhtuns.

Not in Peshawar, Peshawaris are in with the times and take pride in being Pakistani.

This mostly happens in Quetta and the surrounding areas near the Afghan border where Pakistanis are a minority.

In fact it also occurs in some parts of the Kaghan valley; i read a travel guide by a Pakistan writer(from abroad) and he said that the people in the tribal areas didn't like them and whereas the people of Gilgit-Baltistan were really friendly and seemed to be more liberal.

Even in Karachi, if you wear western clothes in these ghettoes, you get stoned; my uncle used to work in hub, which is predominantly made up of refugee, and the people there assaulted him and his co workers because they wore suits smh.

My grandparents don't like it at all, they feel mass immigration has changed our way of life.

i absolutley hate the MQM buddy, i voted for PTI and most of my family did, before that we never voted., the MPA from Karachi's dha neighborhood is also from PTI and he's an Abbotabadi too.

The MQM is a terrorist party that stops Urdu-speakers from assimilating; the Muhajirs in Punjab have assimilated and now identify as just Punjabi, but the ghettoisation of Muhajirs in Karachi has made them marginalize themselves.

27 Pakistani Missiles Fired Into Kunar After Trilateral Talks Begin

Tuesday, 20 May 2014 21:55 Written by Rateb Noori

Pakistani military personnel on Monday fired at least 27 missiles across the border into Afghanistan, coming just as trilateral talks between top Afghan, Pakistani and NATO leaders meet in Kabul to discuss border security.
The Pakistani missiles were fired on the Sarkanoy District of eastern Kunar province.
"On Monday, the Pakistani military fired 27 missiles on Sarkanoy district of Kunar province, the attack destroyed four houses but there were no human casualties," Kunar Police Chief General Sayed Habib Khaili told TOLOnews.
Direct hostilities between Afghanistan and Pakistan have heated up in recent years along the border the two countries share. The Durand Line, which divides the two South Asian nations, has been a point of contention for decades.
The commander of international forces, General Joseph Dunford, the Afghan Army Chief, Sher Mohammad Karimi, and his Pakistani counterpart, were all recently gathered in Kabul to discuss the security situation along the border.
Residents in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, which have suffered the brunt of the Pakistani aggressions, have criticized the Afghan government for not doing more to stop the attacks.
"I want the government to not get fooled by Pakistan like this," Nangarhar Provincial Council member Zabiullah Ezmarai said.
A number of lawmakers at Parliament in the capital have also shown concern about the attacks. The MPs accused the Afghan government of lacking the courage to take a firm stance against Pakistan.
"Attacks on our eastern regions and the statement of the Pakistani National Security advisor clarify Pakistan's stance toward Afghanistan," the head of Parliament's Commission for Internal Affairs, Mir Dad Nejrabi, said.
"Pakistan has always shown a willingness to cooperate with Afghanistan, but Pakistan has never desired for Afghan peole to live in peace," Second Senate Deputy Speaker Rafiullah Gul Afghan said.
All of the legislators who spoke on the subject Tuesday seemed to agree that Pakistan was pursuing a duplicitous policy toward Afghanistan, treating it as an ally while also subverting it.
"Pakistan still continues a double policy, meaning that the day Pakistani officials arrive in Afghanistan, the same day the Pakistani army targets some region in kunar and along the border," Kabul MP Shukria Barakzai said.
Nevertheless, Afghan Border Police officials in the area have expressed a resilient hope in the trilateral talks. They said they think issues with Pakistan can be overcome through diplomacy and negotiations.
In recent weeks, some 43 missiles have been fired across the border into Kunar province, and over the past couple years, experts estimate that figure to be around 2,000 missiles.
