There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Actually, this was leaked by one journalist Omar Cheema who is associated with Jang-Geo group with which Imran Khan is currently clashing ostensibly at the behest of the notorious ISI. If Goe-Jang group has leaked it there may be some truth to the news. Imran Khan is a known womanizer. May be in future, there are other stories out about his hedonistic private life.

وہ منفرد پاکستانی سیاستدان ہیں اور یوں ان کا احسان کا بدلہ چکانے کا انداز بھی منفرد ہے ۔ ان کے اس منفرد انداز کی داستان بہت طویل ہے لیکن میں وہاں سے شروع کرتا ہوں جہاں سے انہوں نے کوچہ سیاست میں قدم رکھا ۔ تب ماڈل ٹائون لاہور کے ای بلاک کے ایک چھوٹے سے گھر کے ایک چھوٹے سے مہمان خانے میں جنرل حمید گل ‘ محمد علی درانی ‘ ڈاکٹر محمد فاروق خان اور جاوید احمد غامدی ان کے ساتھ مغزکھپائی کرتے تھے ۔ یہ تینوں انہیں سیاست میں آنے کا جبکہ غامدی صاحب انہیں نہ آنے کی تلقین کیا کرتے تھے ۔ محمد علی درانی اور جنرل حمید گل اس وقت سمجھ گئے لیکن ڈاکٹر محمد فاروق خان سادگی اور اخلاص میں مار کھاگئے ۔ وہ اپنے کلینک سے کمائی ہوئی رقم ان کی سیاست کی نذر کرتے رہے ۔ ان کی جماعت کا پہلا دستور بھی انہوں نے لکھا۔ ۹۷ء کے انتخابات میں وہ ان کے ساتھ کراچی تا مینگورہ گھوم کراپنی تقاریر کے ذریعے انہیں انقلابی ثابت کرنے اوران کے حق میں لوگوں کا لہو گرمانے کی کوشش کرتے رہے ۔ کچھ عرصہ بعد وہ حقیقت جان گئے لیکن ایک مہذب انسان ہونے کے ناتے کبھی اپنے سابقہ دوست اور لیڈر کے خلاف زبان نہیں کھولی ۔ جب تک وہ زندہ رہے ‘ یہ صاحب ان کا نام احترام سے لیتے رہے کیونکہ وہ جانتے تھے کہ وہ کئی معاملات کے رازدان ہیں۔ دو سال قبل انہیں مردان میں عسکریت پسندوں نے گولیوں کا نشانہ بنایا۔ قاضی حسین احمد جن کی جماعت کو ڈاکٹر محمد فاروق خان بہت پہلے چھوڑ چکے تھے‘ جن کی جماعت نے ڈاکٹر فاروق خان کے خلاف بدترین پروپیگنڈا کیا تھا اوراس جماعت کے خلاف انہوں نے سینکڑوں صفحات سیاہ کئے تھے ‘ اسی دن ان کی لاش کا دیدار کرنے ان کے گھر پہنچے لیکن اس منفرد سیاستدان نے ان کے جنازے پر جانا گوارا کیا اورنہ ان کے اہل خانہ سے فون پر تعزیت کی زحمت اٹھائی۔ کچھ عرصہ بعد میری ملاقات ہوئی اور میں نے ڈاکٹر محمد فاروق خان مرحوم کا ذکر چھیڑ دیا تو انہوں نے ان پر تبرا بھیج کر انہیں خود غرض قرار دیا(پشاور کے معروف صحافی عقیل یوسف زئی اس نشست کے گواہ ہیں) تب تو جوابی دلائل سے میں نے ان کے ساتھ حساب برابر کیا لیکن میں ان کی اس روایت پسندی اور احسان کے بدلے کے اس منفرد انداز کا مزید قائل ہوگیا۔ جب جنگ گروپ نے ان کے ساتھ مل کر سیلاب زدگان کی امداد کے لئے مہم چلانے کا آغاز کیا تو میں نے خود اپنی انتظامیہ سے شکایت کی کہ ایک میڈیا گروپ کا کسی سیاسی جماعت کے ساتھ کسی بھی معاملے میں نتھی ہونا درست نہیں ۔ مجھ جیسے مزدور کی تو خیر کیا سنی جاتی لیکن جنگ گروپ کے اس اقدام پر ایم کیو ایم کے قائد تحریک الطاف حسین صاحب بھی برہم ہوگئے اور اپنی ناراضگی اپنے مخصوص انداز میں جنگ گروپ کی انتظامیہ تک براہ راست پہنچائی ۔ میاں نوازشریف صاحب نے اپنا ردعمل جنگ گروپ کی انتظامیہ کو ان الفاظ کے ساتھ پہنچادی کہ اس کام کے ذریعے وہ ان کے ساتھ براہ راست دشمنی کا ارتکاب کررہا ہے۔ مولانا فضل الرحمٰن صاحب نے بھی اسی طرح کا ردعمل ظاہر کیا لیکن جنگ گروپ ان دونوں اور دیگر سیاسی جماعتوں کی ناراضگی مول لے کر اس بنیاد پر ڈٹا رہا کہ اس منفرد سیاستدان کو وہ زبان دے چکے ہیں ۔واضح رہے کہ یہ اشتراک کار اس وقت ہورہا تھا کہ جب جنگ گروپ کی طرف سے ’’امن کی آشا‘‘ بھی چل رہا تھا اور وائس آف امریکہ کا پروگرام کا کنٹریکٹ بھی جیو کے پاس تھا جو بعدازاں ایک اور چینل اور پھر ایک اور چینل کے پاس چلا گیا۔ پھر جس اندا ز میں جیو نیوز پر اس منفرد سیاستدان اور ان کی جماعت کی کوریج ہوتی رہی ‘ اس پر مجھ سمیت جیو کے اکثر اینکرز معترض تھے ۔ الیکشن کے دن سے ایک روز قبل بھی میاں نوازشریف کی صاحبزادی مریم نواز شریف نے ٹیلی فون پر دو مرتبہ شکایت کی تھی کہ ہمارا چینل ان کے مقابلے میں اس منفرد سیاستدان کا ساتھ دے رہا ہے ۔ آج اسی جنگ گروپ اور جیو نیوز پر مشکل وقت آیا تو وہ منفرد سیاستدان اس کے خلاف میدان میں نکل آیا۔ اب احسان کے بدلے کا اس سے بہتر طریقہ اور کیا ہوسکتا ہے؟ ۔ احسان کا بدلہ منفرد انداز میں دینے کی ایک اور تابناک مثال ہمارے دوست اور سینئر اینکر جناب حامد میر ہیں ۔ پچھلے سالوں میں انہوں نے جتنی جگہ اپنے پروگرام میں اس منفرد سیاستدان کو دی ‘ کسی اور کو نہیں دی ۔ انتخابات سے قبل جب یہ منفرد سیاستدان حادثے کا شکار ہوئے تو حامد میر کی وہی کیفیت تھی جو ایک سچے دوست اور سگے بھائی کی ہوسکتی ہے ۔ وہ اپنے تمام کام چھوڑ کر ان کے پاس لاہور پہنچے ۔ اگلے دن ’’کیپٹل ٹاک‘‘ اسی اسپتال سے ان کے چاہنے والوں کے ساتھ کیا لیکن اب جب اس حامد میر کا بدن چھ گولیوں سے چلنی ہوگیااور جنہیں موت سے اللہ نے معجزانہ طور پر بچایا تو ان کی مزاج پرسی کے لئے جانے کی بجائے یہ منفرد سیاستدان ان کے زخموں پر نمک پاشی میں مصروف ہوگئے ۔ ایک طرف چوہدری اعتزاز احسن ہیں ‘ جن کو جنگ گروپ کے ہمارے بعض ساتھیوں نے بہت دکھایا اور جو اس وقت جنگ گروپ کے مخالف گروپ کا وکیل ہے‘ حامد میر کے مزاج پرسی کے لئے حاظر ہوئے ۔ وہ ان کے سامنے کھڑے ہوکر روتے رہے اور پھر باہر نکل کر ایک جینوئن جمہوریت پسند کی طرح حامد میرصاحب اور جنگ گروپ کے حق میں بیان دے دیا۔ یہ ہے اس منفرد سیاستدان کے احسان کا بدلہ دینے کا منفرد طریقہ ۔ یہ داستان بہت طویل ہے ۔ یہ حفیظ اللہ نیازی سے شروع ہوکرملک ریاض سے ہوتا ہوا شوکت یوسف زئی تک سینکڑوں محسنوں کا احاطہ کرتا ہے ۔ اسی نوع کے سینکڑوں قصے میرے پاس ہیں ۔ زندگی رہی تو اور بھی داستانیں رقم کرلوں گا ۔ شوکت یوسف زئی کا واقعہ تازہ ہے ‘ اس لئے ان کا حق پہلے بنتا ہے ۔اور یہ داستانیں کیوں نہ لکھوں ۔ اب کی بار تو انہوں نے میرے اوپر بڑا احسان کیا ہے ۔ وہ یہ کہ اپنے اس آخری اقدام کے ذریعے انہوںنے مجھے اپنے گروپ کی انتظامیہ ‘ ان کی حمایت کرنے والے درجنوں صحافی دوستوں ‘ حامد میر صاحب اور ان کی جماعت کے مخلص کارکنوں کے سامنے سرخرو کیا ۔ میں ایک عرصے سے ان لوگوں کو بتاتا رہا کہ اس منفرد سیاستدان کی ڈوریں کہیں اور سے ہلتی ہیں لیکن وہ ماننے کو تیار نہیں تھے ۔ اب وہ سب سمجھ گئے کہ حقیقت حال کیا ہے ۔ الحمدللہ ثم الحمد للہ ۔ ان میں سے کئی ایک میرے سامنے اعتراف کرچکے کہ سلیم تم ٹھیک کہتے تھے ۔ اگر انہوں نے اپنا طریقہ نہ بدلا اور اسی منفرد طریقے سے احسان کا بدلہ دیتے رہے تو انشاء اللہ عنقریب باقی ماندہ لوگوں پر بھی حقیقت واضح ہوجائے گی ۔ تب تک وہ اور ان کے چاہنے والے مجھے جتنی گالیاں دے سکتے ہیں ‘ دے دیں۔ بقول مولانا مودودی زمانہ بڑا بے رحم صراف ہے اور وہ کھرے اور کھوٹے کو جدا کرکے ہی چھوڑتا ہے ۔شاید شیکسپئر نے کہا تھا کہ تم کچھ لوگوں کو ساری زندگی کے لئے اور ساری دنیا کو کچھ وقت کے لئے بے وقوف بناسکتے ہو لیکن ساری دنیا کو ساری زندگی کے لئے بے وقوف نہیں بناسکتے۔

To be honest, I'm not really that bothered about Imran Khan's personal life. However what he promises to the public is a different thing.
[MENTION=1201]Toramana[/MENTION] when I place someone on ignore I also have a policy that I do not post in their threads (though I may read comments of others on there), partly because I don't want anything to do with that person but partly so they will avoid my threads too.
This is why I did not post in a thread about electricity shortage where you were trying to instill sense in to "someone".
However let me just say this about the PTI and Imran Khan. If he did say that the PTI would create 300 dams in 5 years (even small dams) then this is the maths:
300 dams over 5 years
=
60 dams per year
=
5 dams per month
=
1.25 dams per 4 weeks (approximately a month)
In other words Khan was saying he could build a dam a week in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Dawn he promised to build 350 dams:
That means 70 per year, 5.8 per month, 1.45 per week (5.8 / 4).
Imran Khan should go to Laos where they have the humble goal of building 10 dams over the next 5 years.

Bangal-Tiger, even if he start building all the 350 dams in parallel is it possible completing all the dams in 5 years when you have to do the all spade-work and procure resources. Also note that it is over one year since his party took power in the province. So he has only 4 years left(update your calculation; it may come out two dams per week now). I am not a mathematician and my "knowledge" of maths is confined to simple arithmetic but I can use a calculator!
So let's say 350 in 4 years
That would be 87.5 per year
7.29 a month, let's round it at 7.3
1.82 per week (alternatively 1.68 if you divide 350 dams by 208 weeks [the amount of weeks in 4 years]).

PESHAWAR: Chairman Qaumi Wattan Party Aftab Ahmed Sherpao has called Imran Khan politically ignorant person, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News here Sunday, Aftab Sherpao said PTI chairman was crying in order to hide his failure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said Khan’s rigging allegations after one year against Geo News were illogical.
He said statement of Imran Khan against Geo showed his political immatureness.
Sherpao further said Khan also wanted to sabotage peace dialogue process.

I used to respect Imran Khan but that was before he supported Qader Molla (the executed Jamaat e Islami politician), who a lot of Pakistanis and other fundamentalists/"Islamist" are unaware that he himself claimed he was a Mukti Bahini freedom fighter against the Pakistanis in 1971. So from the Pakistani nationalist perspective either Qader Molla fought against the Pakistani army or he was a liar, both a "sin" in their eyes.
As for liberal, progressive Pakistanis resisting the genocide carried out by Yahya Khan's forces in 1971 is not a "sin" but something virtuous.

Private lives of leaders are very important because the conduct of private lives show leaders can hold themselves to some standard of morality and ethical behavior. An adulterous ruler who is not loyal to his family, wife, and kids is not even tolerated in the open society of the West what to talk of the traditional society of Pakistan where the rulers also have to do the law-making.
Another thing is the hypocrisy; something else in private life but the pretension of something else in the public life.
And IK is a failure on all counts whether education, law and order, corruption, governance, etc.
