A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
What do you mean? Do you disagree with what he said? or is this Zaid Hamid style defamation of character? I don't know much about him, but he was pretty spot on with his facts about Pakistan in that brief interaction in that video wrora.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

All of his speeches are in english, audiance couldnt understand what he was saying. He never interacted with general public like gandhi.
All the british sources document the fact that he used to drink wine and eat pork, didnt pray salat or any religous duty. But pakistanis deny it and PHD on jinnah is banned for this reason in pakistan.
In first assembly session of pakistan, a maulana stoop up for tilawat, jinnah said "sit down, this is not a mosque"

He's Salman Rushdie 2.0.
I have watched some of his videos. He's doing all this for the success of his books.
Well it doesnt matter whether Pakistan was made for muslims or Pakistanis were fooled by Jinnah and other elites in the formation of Pakistan. The fact is that the formation of Pakistan was inevitable as was the seperation of Bangladesh from Pakistan or Creation of a new Country for muslims in india when the muslims population in india will reach atleast to 25%(As per some leaks of 2011 census,The Muslim Population in india is 230Million instead of believed 180Million).
Pakistan current geography was never ever part of India historically.68-73% of Pakistani territory doesnt even fall under indian tectonic plate but rather Persian/Iranian Tectonic plate.
Other than this,He's allowed to criticize whatever he wants.Pakistan is a democracy and so does canada where he lives

I recomend book "murder of history" by K.K.Aziz for you.
Jinnah never opposed british, he never went to jail like congressi, red shirts and deobandi ulemas. He even opposed khilafat movement. His only ambition was to convince british that a separate muslim majority country should be carve out for them before they leave, british liked his idea of dividision of hindostan. Still it is historical fact that secular jinnah never entertained the idea of new country for muslims till late 40s when nehru refused to accept the gandhi's idea of giving seat of PM of combined hindostan to jinnah. Jinnah, nehru etc were playing politics. Jinnah was a power hungry man whose ambition was to make name for himself, islam was the ladder he used to achieve his goal.....according to sikandar mirza he asked jinnah whether there will be sharia in the country? Jinnah replied "it is non-sense, pakistan will be a secular country".

Malgara, you don't see the benefits of Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan being 1 country, as opposed to it being divided into pieces, and pieces? This game has worked pretty well, since now your coming out with geological reasons for why they shouldn't be together. The fact is, the formation of Pakistan was Angrez-led, Angrez-owned, strictly to divide Muslims. it was *NOT* inevitable, its just that the prostitution nature of the region, and the people, who sell themselves to the highest bidder, in this case the British.
Another interesting notion this article exposes is the brainwashing conducted in Pakistan, to those born in Pakistan, Quad-E-Azam is sold to you, as some sort of a holy figure, who loves Islam, but that's a delusional reality. Now all of a sudden, any criticism of him results in geological reasons why the two were not meant to be, or how Pakistan is the leader of the Muslim world, Zaid Hamid style verbal diarrhea.
Truth is, a nation who fries its own Pashtun population in Waziristan, and other areas in Pashtun belt, will always remain a prostitute nation.
Best,

If you have ever studied cognitive science, you'd know that what your saying will never be comprehended, unless the brain opens up. Imagine being brainwashed for 23 years, and then being told all those Qomi Taranas you were yelling in the assembly line was part of a psychological brainwash process, and most of what you learned in your Pak Studies course was propaganda too. The brain at that point just *will not* accept it. It's natural.

Best,
well it was certainly impossible for atleast the muslim to remain Under hindu Majority when infact they had a higher status for almost 1000years under a foriegn though Muslim rulers.
We can't blame Angrez for everything especially the muslim divide.Infact it is completely non sense,Muslim had always been divided.Be it arabs or persian.Or even the formation of Bangladesh when their was no british around or even the secceeding of Afghanistan territory into British india without any war.
I agree Muslims of India were fooled by Religion because muslim can easily by fooled by Religion even today in Countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan or even india today.
Well in this era,No such thing as prostitute nation exist. It is all the strategic Cards you can play.Pakistan had no choice but to get the support of west against a very powerful enemy and Pakistan has managed it quite well.

Well Jinnah 12th August Speech before the creation of Pakistan.Where he has confirmed that Pakistan never will be a Islamic state but rather a Muslim majority state only.
This is the reason Pakistan was a "State of Pakistan" till 1956 or for 9 long years even though Jinnah Died in 1948.
I don't know why it matters to people whether Jinnah was a muslim or not,Whether he wanted Islamic State under shariah or not.Even when today Pakistani doesnt want Taliban demands of shariah despite after almost 7decades Islamization of the people.
I don't know why does it matter whether he was for real or not.when infact the Movement for Pakistan was even older than Jinnah Birth
No one in Pakistan can even imagine merger with India or had remained so.infact in Pakistan People of Indians are seen as sub standard and sometime not even regarded as human.
Well i have seen People from around the world on international fora's but nothing even close to the patriotism of indians or Pakistanis let alone comparable.not even israely are as blind patriotic as Pakistani or indians are.

what you are saying is correct, however blind patriotism is the worst thing that can happen to humans. There will always be wars, ethnic divisions, rivalries, as long as there is blind patriotism. No peace will ever come. The whole region is on fire because of this thing called blind patriotism, which is nothing but a deception
