1. Pashto is the language of millions and millions of people, the majority of people, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

2. How can a man who is supposed to govern the lives of millions of people not even speak their language?

I am going to place Tajik nationalist, Boast Bastan on ignore but I will address his off-topic personal attacks.


1. Boast Bastan is a Tajik nationalist who promotes the Tajik nationalist agenda and tries to undermine Pashtuns, all the while claiming to be a Pashtun.


2. A normal Pashtun would consider it a perfectly normal and justified demand that a governor of a war-torn and sensitive area speak and understand the language of the people he is governing.

Isn't that a normal and reasonable demand?

So why is Tajik nationalist Boast Bastan so against this?

3. Boast Bastan does not want to see Pashto language and identity surviving, he is also afraid and jealous of Pan-Pashtun identity and even respect and support for Pashtuns from other Muslims like myself, who have blood, historical and religious ties with Pashtuns.

If Pashtuns in Pakistan lose their language and identity that in his eyes weakens the Pashtuns of Afghanistan.


4. I sympathize with Pashtuns because:

a: They are my Muslim brothers
b: They are the victims of the same army and state that genocided and raped my people.

5. As someone from a state that was (unfortunately) part of Pakistan a few decades ago and a victim of the same sort of discrimination and injustice that Pashtuns are now suffering from and that we fortunately have ended, I am in more of a position to speak about the injustice of the Pakistani state than others.

6. I am not advocating a war or violence. In fact a few years ago on this same forum I was criticized by some Afghan Pashtuns and even one of Boast Bastan's fellow Persian-speakers for wishing for an America v Pakistan war not to happen as Pashtuns of Pakistan would suffer.

7. I respect Pashtun culture and Pashtuns. For example on Khyberwatch forums I posted many threads about affairs in Pakhtunkhwa without any mention of Punjabis:

Asif86 (a Mirpuri Punjabi) in contrast however infiltrated that forum and kept on posting anti-Bengali topics under his "terminator" handlein. I did warn him but eventually had to ban him.

8. Tajik supremacist, Boast Bastan basically tells me to be quiet about Pashtun affairs and speaks about Bangladesh in a derogatory manner. However I discuss news of many countries e.g. Russia, Saudi, USA etc.
I will not let this Tajik supremacist silence me and nor will I say anything negative about Tajiks as I believe this troll's agenda on this forum is to weaken Pashtuns and to promote Tajik ethno-supremacism.

I have had Tajik friends and respect civilized Tajiks on this forum like Herat.

Forget about Islam, but even in terms of insaaniyat.

I am sure that Tajiks and other ethnics of Afghanistan are good and god fearing people. However, there are Tajiks on this site that put me off.

They say who cares if you drink alcohol. Fine. I agree with that. It is your own choice. Then they say let your women mingle with men, and that I cannot agree with. Persian people are very modern. But Pakistani people are not this modern and I don't think Afghan people are either.

As far as his CMship is concerned in 1997, I must say that PMLN got plenty of votes in Pakhtunkhwa to form a govt, even after ANP quit the coalition government they(PML) had enough majority to continue their rule in the province. A CM is selected by the public indirectly coz their elected people vote to choose him in the assembly and in that case the people of Pakhtunkhwa i.e Pakhtuns had voted for PMLN so you can't blame ANP alone.

As far as the selection of Governor is concerned it is a very bad decision on the part of Nawaz whereby he showed his hatred and enemty towards Pashtuns He had a lot of Pashtun companions in his party like Iqbal Jhagra who is serving him since long but he choosed a Hindkey instead to govern the most pashto speaking areas i.e FATA and PATA

you can,nt ignore ANP ,s relation with pml-n in the past.
Wali khan called nawaz sharif the leader and sheri-punjab.
Mr Hidayatullah Chamkani of ANP was the speaker of Abasi,s govt in the 90s.ANP was an allaince with pml-n and people like fareed tofan and others serve under his govt.
That time ANP did,nt oppose his position cus nawaz was their leader.This time ANP is out of power with no stake in the govt.
He was khindko speaking then and now.The difference this time is that nawaz can,nt offer anything to ANP oppertunists this time.
Ex-isi chief Major Amir was offered the post but he refused.
ANP ,s freind is back in the business and they should congratulate him.

All of the above pashtuns are cool blood nation and they will tolerate him like they did in the past.Amir Gulistan Ganjowa was punjabi and he served on the same position.
Some ANP leaders like Afrasyab khatak has family relation with hard liner punjabi party pml-q.His daughter is married to the son of punjabi mushahid husain.

My point is this. I am not a racist person.

The reason I like Pashtuns or Pathan is because of one simple reason. They stick to their principles.

The main reason I have love for Pathans is because they as a group, have the same religious values that my family share.

Other people in Pakistan, Arabs states, Iran or Afghanistan do not share the same religious values that we have.


I am Punjabi, but Pashtuns behave the same way that I have been brought up with, and that's why I have so much respect for them and can relate to them.
