It is far to difficult I think to have something good of any these elections at the moment. Afghanistan has been too much abused by foreign interests, that even do not finish at this point. In a country where there is as I understand no "leader cult", where different ethnic groups live, religious and military groups exist, with their agendas and views it is very easy at this moment of so long conflicts to destry even the politics of a honest president, when it won't fit foreign interests.
Whoever will come to be president, I whish him to realize that his life on earth is short, while the consequences of his deeds will create further consequences. All these will be important for the whole country and many future generations.

I am not supporting any candidate, specially not Dr. Abdullah, but I am also not a fan of lies and propagandas. Mr. Aimal Pisarlay is working for BBC Pashtu section and cooperates with Pajhwok. He is known for his ethnocentric bias. He spreads that lies across the Pashtu medias. He just today started to publish his lies on twitter. So please come down. Its too early to say who will win. At the moment still AA dominates northern and western Afghanistan. Do you know that Herat provinces gave 82% of its votes to AA? Or that even in Uzbek domination like Jawzjan AA won 64% of votes? Right now, 73% of Kabul backs AA. Therefore I hopes like you as well that Ghani come on the stage as fast as possible. Possibly tomorrow we will know more but now its just too early, brother. Predictions are stupid and those Pakis just forge such figures.

                    ''leading candidate'':

According to the results, Dr Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai bagged 42.10 percent of votes, Dr Abdullah Abdullah 40.72 percent and Zalmai Rassoul 7.66 percent. These were the results after the first 3 hours!! You have to update your information, bro

                      Governance109 killed during elections

By Hassan Khitab Apr 6, 2014 - 00:09 KABUL (Pajhwok): Interior Minister Mohammad Omar Daudzai and other senior government officials on Saturday said the Afghans braved security threats to make the landmark elections a success.
Security officials said many plots to spread panic on the Election Day had been thwarted and militants inflicted heavy casualties.
Daudzai told a news conference in Kabul the rebels were unable to disrupt the vote as they had been threatening.
He said Afghan forces had successfully prevented 140 attacks on polling sites, killing 89 assailants over the past 24 hours.
Nine policemen, seven Afghan National Army (ANA) personnel and four civilians were lost to the incidents that left 43 civilians wounded during the period.
“People’s widespread participation in the polls showed they had no care for insurgent attacks and raised their voice for peace to the world.”
“With tight security measures, Afghan forces proved today they can resist every threat from the enemy and can defend the nation against them,” Daudzai said. He also said some security officers were among those detained on charges of electoral fraud.
About rocket attacks from Pakistan into eastern provinces, the interior minister said neighbouring countries should respect what they had promised with Afghanistan and should cooperate with the Afghans in improving their security.
Acting National Directorate of Security (NDS) head Rahmatullah Nabil, who attended the press conference, said militants tried their best to derail the elections, but their attempts had been unsuccessful.
He said intelligence agents had detained 76 militants and 93 suspected individuals over the past 48 hours in different parts of the country.
