oil is not the problem here. we have resources and iraq had oil. that did not prevent the americans from bombing either of these two countries. what makes us more vulnerable is the fact that our leaders take no responsibility for the people they claim to be representing and that our people are easily misguided. we are running on what is called a democracy. our lack of concern plays as much of a role in electing these leaders as the alternative would. we are responsible for their actions. we have no sense of unity left in us. instead of focusing on matters like this, we are more concerned about fighting each other over the differences of the languages we speak or our skin color.
that was not the priority of our concerns 10 of 15 years ago. war is business. if afghan people start getting along well with each other, how will they justify their war??
