he doesn't support the war on pashtun but rather eliminate their military role in the country, zalmai rasool is another karzai, while abdullah had the chance in the past when he was serving the pakiesa and russian interests.
Ghani has lived and studied in the US like many other great leaders like fidel castro and many more. it has nothing to do with their political agendas.

- in his politics he has been heavily focused on trying to make sure that the populations of Badakhshan, Takhar, Parwan, Kapisa and Nangarhar that are in the ANA have no better equipment than the Taliban. He wants these people to die in huge numbers ( currently 400/month) in order for the
people of these provinces to "PAY THE PRICE OF WAR" - as he like to say.

- he actively has undermined the power of the people whom brought benefits to certain parts of the country - like Ismail Khan and Gul Agha Sherzai in Kandahar. He used US + British military power to do this.

- he has been part of the active increase in heroin addiction in the country

- through his anti-emplyment policies. He has allowed for Pakistani labourers to come to Afghanistan and outbid the locals. At the same time he has ensured that Heroin money floods the main cities - and heroin supplies too. This is why Heroin is cheaper in Kabul than simple medicine. The high unemployment - cheap drugs - all have had the effect of sky rockets rates of addiction.

- in his policies towards the Taliban - he has been trying his utmost to undermine the war against them. He has been trying to turn the issue into an ethnic issue.
