The Article here is clearly bogus, firstly why is the interview on FACEBOOK, and yet nowhere else? That is one clue that the article is likely a FABRICATION ...and most probably by Opposition supporters.
Secondly, Rula is a Lebanese Christian, Lebanese Christians are culturally one of the most zealous and adamant Chistians in the world. They generally hold disparagng views about Muslims and would be reluctant to even marry a Lebanese Muslim nevermind an Afghan Muslim.
What does this mean? It means that Rula is heavily secularized and only Nomiially Christian.
JUst like Badlun onlly pretends to be Muslim so he can maintain acceptance from other Muslims and disguise himself. Rula does the same with her religion.

I had no idea about this woman. I haven't had time to read up
on the candidates because they all sound highly suspect.
But this is a big, BIG negative !
I am aghast that people here don't care.
I think his having a Christian wife is really not appropriate.
And far worse, one that aims aggressively to help these
evangelical groups which never belonged in Afghanistan at all !
There is so much arrogance in their attempt to convert afghans
that they should be expelled, rather than aided and abetted by
her and her accomplices.
And why should any Afghan ever CARE WHAT the image is abroad ?
That's the least important thing on a menu of serious problems that need
to be addressed immediately.
Does anyone here know more about this Rouyla Ghani?
Where does she come from and how is it that her mother is Jewish ?
Did she convert to Christianity and if so where ?
Edit: I saw now what RTR wrote. True ! That is SO true about
Lebanese Maronites, if she is one. But then she wouldn't be supporting
the Protestants like that.
Perhaps she is some non-denominational lukewarm type.
Remember that Jill Kelley, the one who was so close to that American
general Petraus, throwing parties for him all the time and having entree
to a US base and all the top brass, was a Lebanese Maronite.
So behind this Rouyla - or whatever her name is - must be a
heavy American backing. If I read more about her, I probably would be really incensed.
PLUS : the interview appeared in Foreign Policy.
That is a huge giveaway that she and her husband are tools of the CFR.
That is THEIR publication.
The title is innocuous, but the contents are only what
the Council on Foreign Relations want the world to be brainwashed with !
Let's hope there is a quick -and long-enduring - coup by a
