your article says the US supported the taliban, but how? financial? there is no evidence of that and in fact, not recognizing the country would lead to the UN not recognizing the country and naturally the rest of the world. this would basically guarantee that the nation would never progress economically or socially and remain isolated even if the taliban completely defeated the NA.

I haven't say that, but people who forget who they are, becomes something else. It is not right? If you are born Muslim and behave like Non Muslim when you are grown up. Can you still call your self Muslim? In my view its is a no. We choice ourself our path, and we have clear laws, in Pashtun society, how to behave like a Pashtun and good Muslim. If you act 80 % in non Pashtun/Muslim way, then I have a hard time see that those belong in our society, and we need to take actions that they follow the line or are free to choice their own destiny somewhere else. In Pashtun soil in future Inshallah, all people must respect and follow Pashtun laws.

But mainly it is not their fault, because with no proper education, true leader to follow. People are easily, specially in country side where majority of our people live, forget the true path and instead follow new ways that they may come up with. Sometimes get influenced by foreign power.

I assume you mean by what is Muslim and what is not. Unlike ethnicity, there are certain rules which makes someone a Muslim and a follower of the faith. When someone steps outside these bounds, they can no longer call themselves followers of Islam. They have committed shirk by joining gods with God whereby their opinions or wants is equal to the parts of Islam that they agree with. They themselves becoming the god which they have joined with God.

With ethnicity, anything goes. I am Pashtun, you are Pashtun, some porn star woman can be Pashtun.

Abdullahs father is Tajik from Kanadahar he is not Pashtun, he is full Tajik.

that is my point, there are no rules to being pashtun. its not some club with exclusive rules, we were born this way and had no choice in the matter. the pashtuns that you like and that you don't are still pashtun. if you were born a tajik or punjabi and embraced nationalism, you would be saying **** pashtuns they are backwards blah blah.
