He tells about the history of Afghanistan and the social problems, the diversity and that every corner of Afghanistan is populated by people who once came from outside, be it Farsiwans, Pashtuns, Hazaras or Uzbeks. He says that the downfall of Afghanistan started not for 20 or 30years ago but abit more than 100years ago when Hazara lands were invaded and the history of the country was re-written and faked by a new elite with the appearing of Nadir Khan who was endorsing ethnic racism like Pashtuns vs non-Pashtuns. He says every invader that settled in the region could not hold the region without the support of the native or earlier population who formed throughout history the government, court, the dominating culture and language, marrying into the native population etc. The kings may have been invaders but their governments, armies and administratives and the people behind their thrones, ears and eyes were natives. Without natives they could not survive and could not establish themselves. He speaks about the role of Hazaras, the Farsiwans, Pashtuns and other people and modern states how they were formed. He says that Pshtuns who came to Kabul accepted the native Kabuli language and culture of the people became ''educated'' and ''civilised'' unlike those who stayed in south or FATA Wziristan or tribal region of Afgahnistan and so on. He further says that the first communists were taught in the two prominent Pashtun schools of Kabul, one lycee Khushal Khan Baba and the other in Lycee Rahman Baba from where people like Tanai or Amin hailed. He also mentions how Afghanistan was formed and devided by Angriz and Russians. He no where insult anyone except the earlier leaderships who missed to establish a country with fair social atmosphere, equality among the different tribes and instead promoted a one-side ideology which not only failed but also at the end destroyed Afghanistan and still is existing to destroy our country again by using the Pashtun card but not in favour of Pashtun nation but in favour of their own family. He accuses Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan that he challenged Pakistan over Pashtunistan issue and ignored some facts that those Pashtuns in Pakistan are loyal to their own country than to Afghanistan which provoked Pakistan to destroy Afghanistan and create insurgents.

It´s stupid and false to accuse him of racism. In such meetings commanders from all ethnic background came together. How could Mr Massoud have been a racist when 1/3 of his forces were consisting of Pashtuns? He was not only right he even said that if Afghanistan in the next decades don´t get into a new system Pakistan will be able to annex it or to cut it into pieces and if we don´t overcome our pseudo believes of superiority more civil wars, more deaths and more exodus will be our future.
the older i get, the more my view of massoud becomes positive

Massoud was a great man. Most of you hate him just because his ethnic background. He fought for his people and had guts. Never seen any pashtun leader fighting for his people like Massoud fought for tajiks.

        Respect.

Just search up Afshar operation and you can find out for yourself.

He's only liked by uneducated Tajiks, mostly Panjsheris. All the other ethnic groups dislike him. His militia is responsible for the deaths of many innocents.
Sayyaf was behind that massacre. Not Massoud. Several non afghan sources confirm this point.

Anyway Massoud is loved by many people in Afghanistan. BTW I just wonder: Mullah Naqeeb, Laghmani, Abdul Haq, Massoud Khalili, even Abdullah, Sayedkhil... all of them were/Are pashtuns and were close friends of Massoud.

In my opinion he fought mainly for all afghanistan.. but he was also a tajik and was influenced by tajikism. Before Ahmad Shah Massoud non pashtuns had no rights in afghanistan.. after him they have rights. I understand tajik people. But what I admire the most of him was that he was a real badass. He had guts and I respect such people.

Tajiks like any other afghan ethnic group are loyal to their country, Afghanistan. Actually even most of tajik nationalist dislike pretty much Iran.

Amrullah is a good guy. He has been harshly criticized by tajik nationalist because when Taqat called tajiks on tv "haramis" and "non afghans" Amrullah proudly said "I am an afghan".

Tajiks beg Iran for help, the problem is that Iran treats you people like shyt. Remember in the other thread you were telling me that you don't need Pakistan for access to the sea and you have Iran and now you say you hate Iran. Stop being hypocritical.

The problem is that masoud was a facist who created the ethnic problems in Afghanistan. The guy hated Pashtuns so much that he gave up his arse and bent over for the Russians to prevent Pashtun from taking Kabul.
Once the AFghans saw his true colors he had no choice but to run back to panjshir and the only reason panjshir was saved was because his men bent over for the Americans.
The guy was a good prostitute.

I don't hate him for his ethnic background. I don't know enough about him to either hate or have respect for him. Only God knows the truth, and so we'll never be able to truly know his character seeing as he has passed away.

"Never seen any pashtun leader fighting for his people like Massoud fought for tajiks."

Minorities tend to have a greater sense of unity.

And I don't dislike anyone solely based on the ethnic group they're from. My grandfather's mother was Panjsheri, and I have many Tajiks/Uzbeks/Hazaras/Nuristanis in my family (my maternal grandmother is half-Nuristani). Many Afghans of today have intermarried.

                            Salam.

I think you have some mental problems.

Tajiks have cultural, ethnic and religious ties with Iran and they are improving their relationship with Iran and with the rest of our neighbors. Its a smart move because now they have more and better friends. While pashtun nationalism is only backed by pakistan ç8hilarious) tajiks are backed by all our neighbors (Central asian countries+iran+india+china+rusia+europe+usa) and they have full access to warm waters.

While you spend your time barking on this forum tajik nationalism is becoming (unfortunately) a solid reality in afghanistan.
