  • pakistan should impose sharia law on lahore, the drama continue with ttp

pakistani govt is talking to TTP leaders in wazristan.
The govt is agreed to impose sharia law in the pashtunland,ok.
So if this realy good for the people why not start this from lahore ?
First impose sharia on punjab then us .
This is another drama by punjabi establishment to make of the world and pashtun.
US is going to leave now they want to shift their guns to afghanistan in the next year.
Finally talibbans are talking to talibans.

technically we already have Sharia in Pakistan, at least in theory, the laws don't get implemented/enforced and that's another subject.

The Taliban version of sharia isn't really Sharia, it's just tribalism + Wahabism, there's nothing Islamic about the Talibs.

      1. If FATA (or maybe even KPK) comes under the pseudo-shariah of the Taliban then

      a: Pashtuns will remain backwards
b: Pashtuns will have to migrate to other areas of Pakistan for work as they do now e.g. Karachi, Lahore
c: Pashtuns will represent even less of a threat politically and economically to a Punjabi-dominated Pakistan, as their areas will be poor and thus politically weak.
d: One of the main ways as already for Pashtuns to escape poverty will be to try and join the army.

Those who join the army often become "Pathans" (Punjabified Pakistani nationalist "Pashtuns") so this destroys the emotional connection with their blood brothers in Afghankhwa.

      2. On the other hand however the ISI-run "TTP" already run a lot of FATA by proxy anyway and it doesn't make that much of a difference.

a: It is embarassing for Pakistan/Punjabistan as it shows they had 3,000 or so Pakistani soldiers killed and had to hand over control over parts of Pakistan to TTP rebels.

      Pakistan was defeated by rebels.

The "0.6 million approx nuclear regional superpower" (supposedly) that is the Pakistan army was defeated by Pashtun tribesmen.

b: Once FATA (or even parts of KPK) fall under Taliban rule then the militants appetite for implementing their pseudo-shariah will just increase, this will ultimately spread to Punjab itself.

c: Pakistan will be seen as an extremist state with parts of it run by Al-Qaeda connected militants, and Pakistan will internationally and socially have a stigma to it, more than it does now.

At the end of the day Pakistan is on a trajectory heading towards disintegration. What would replace it would be an independent Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab and Pashtun state. As for Kashmir who knows what will happen.

      - Balochistan will be a resource rich state with a small population so will be like Oman or Qatar in a few years.

      - Sindh will have a mega city in Karachi and with peace would prosper. The corrupt and evil Waderas that rule the interior of Sindh could no longer use the Punjabi bogeyman to divert attention from their own feudal barbarism and feudalism in Sindh would eventually have to end thus leading to greater prosperity.

      - Punjab, would abandon all the "dil dil Pakistan" rhetoric about being a Ghazi Muslim state and instead focus on trade and economic development with India who they are blood brothers with anyway.

      - Pashtunkhwa, unless Talibanism and extremist Deobandism is defeated I cannot say what will happen, though naturally I wish it well. If it can establish stability and good trade links to the sea through Balochistan it can do well.

Bottom line, any handing over of FATA to Taliban running pseudo-Sharia would not resolve anything and be a temporary arrangement until something else happens i.e. it would be bandage not a cure.

Seems a good idea, Sharia need to be implemented in the entire country, thats the whole reason why Pakistan was created in the first place, to be a proper Islamic country with Islamic law.

if shariah was imposed, the ttp leaders and government leaders would have to be killed for their crimes.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
