  • afghan refugees call pakistan home and love it more then afghanistan

I always say we should never let our pashtunwali down and help pashtu speaking pashtuns of afghanistan.
These refugees face discrimination and fear in afghanistan.
The reason they call pashtunkhwa and pakistan home cus they feel more home here then their former afghanistan.
If afghanistan is pashtun country why its own pashtun do,nt like going back there?
if a tajik can settle down there why not pashtun?
is their anyone to help these pashtuns of afghanistan.
They love pashtunkhwa more then afg why?
not cus of war but cus they feel home here.
They do,nt need to speak dari here.

    where is afghan gerat here?

Afghans and Pashtuns have adjusted so well in Punjab, that you cannot say it is just a Pashtunwali connection.

As a society, Punjabis don't care what others do. In a sense, Pakistanis never tried to control Pashtuns of FATA, but let them decide what they want to do. In Punjab people mind their own business.

We do not get jealous of anyone owning land here. Outside of Bahawalpur, there is a truck station. The people that own it are Afghan. They also have a restaurant behind the station. Their restaurant has very good Afghan food, and their makhan is designed beautifully. They have 7 or 8 rooms. Each room has the glass where you cannot see inside, but you can see outside. It has become a very popular place for dates from the kids from Islamia University. It is just north of Bahawalpur city towards Lohdran. I went there with my cousin who had brought a girl from his university, and I was worried that Khan saab is going to beat our asses mercilessly.

Surprisingly, Khan saab was speaking better Punjabi than the kids from my city, and he was not there for a long time. His family was all outside, women and kids getting ingredients ready.

Khan saab asked me what my favorite dish was, and I told him Kabuli Pulao.

I even ran into some Afghan truck drivers close to the petrol pumps. All of them were sitting crouched down and I had a very funny and good conversation with them. They all had good sense of humor.

I just want to say Afghans are welcome in Punjab and my city. We are all Muslims and having the Afghani come to Punjab is an honor. All the guys are funny and kind.

So the name is Islamia University, yet there is open dating going on between girls and guys? typical hypocrisy.

Pakistan is a strange confused nation. You also find (Heera Mandi) just beside the biggest mosque in pakistan

              saiba,
i understand your point.Yes,there are many refugees living in punjab. We are thankfull to your people for their hospitaity and help.
The vast majority of them are living in pashtunkhwa. They own top businesses and many attend unis.
The hospitals are open for them here.
So a geratmand nation will never abuse those who helped them but thats not the case with afgis.
These poor pashtun refugees are disadvantage people. We should help them.
But there are many beneky and begerat afgis too.
They eat and **** in our land and call us brothers when need help but as soon as they leave for west on pakistani passport there these sell out start calling name to the people of pashtunkhwa.
My point is that a gerati pashtun will die cus of hunger on his own land but will never go to enemy,s land.
They call everyone in pakistan porki so why they like to live in porkiland and prefer porki nationality?
Spacaily the half breed mix race are more bad mouth.
The pure pashtuns as you can see are like us.For the bad attitude of begerat afgi we should never let our pashtu speaking pashtuns down.
Here on this forum may be two three pashtuns from afghanistan here the rest are bunch of persains mixed.

Also you can not say all punjabsi love pashtuns.
The lahoris hate the name of pashtuns.
But agains you can,nt compare them with sell out parsibans-pashtuns of afg.

After all a pure pashtun state is the answer or the pashtun suffering will continue.

i guess you just saw these poor uneducated guys talking about how they are gonna earn their livings, they have got no lands homes jobs nothing. they were born in peshawar and raised their and you call yourself such a ghairat mand pashtun that you want them to live.
                if you have ghairat:
                1) fight for their rights and make sure they aren't thrown away by pakies.
                2) why don't you come and tell him thats its an afghan land. no one is gonna throw him out.
3)why don't you give them refuge under code of pashtunwali. take them to your village.

Jut try to be him for 5 minutes and think. then start blaming them .

I treat them like brothers.I fight my own not to call them maajar.
To me pashtu speaker of kunar ,paktya and paktika is same as mardan, charsada etc.
yes,we give them a large piece of land in gandup area of gadoon. They live like us.Many are teaching in schools even and runing businesses.
Few of my village people are married to safi girls of kunar and i see no differance between them and us.They live freely in pashtunkhwa .
                  They are well integrated.
On the other side when we come to your side we are call pakistanis and our visa checked everywhere so what do you think of that?
So this brotherhood is one sided.
A true pashtun would never do this but the farsibans rulers badly brainwashed pashtun of afghanistan and they do,nt accep this reality.
If we come to your side in that great number you will forced us back and thats happen in 1930.
It is our hospitality that you are still here.
Many of them got paki id card.
In queta the entire kandaris got paki id card and still your people calling name to paki nationality.
                  what do you think?
If the paki govt open the border trust me the entire pashtun papulation will move to pashtunkhwa.

My point is that first of all pashtun must stop talking superiority.
pashtuns are disadvantage people living far worst lives then uzbiks and tajiks.
Many pashtun from afg side i met complain of discrimination on return to afghanistan.
Check with benawa how they abused and treated the refugees in takhar province. They were call pakis and were kicked out by uzbiks and tajiks.

This is pashtunland and pashtun will decide what to do.
I would say for the pashtun unity and the right of pashtu pashtunistan is the answer to all our problem.
Lets us not fool our people in the name of pakisanyath and afghanyath.
These are fail countries. We are sick of parsi-urdu romance. We want our own identity with our own culture and language.
This is what going to happen after 2014.

millions have already left pakistan, not to mention its not easy to just up and leave somewhere you have lived in for decades to somewhere there is economic uncertainty. how convenient would it be for you right now? you are not poor or desperate but i am sure the thought of moving to another country would scare the **** out of u.

Kabul has the highest % of pashtuns now more than anytime in history due to refugees coming in. ask any afghan and they will tell you that there is far more pashto in mainstream media in afg and everyday life than there has ever been in recent times.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

the vast majority of refugees in pakistan were pashtun, when millions leave pakistan, common sense dictates that most were pashtuns. even if all tajiks left pakistan, it wouldn't put a dent in the figures of overall migration. and why are you even bringing up uzbeks? their numbers are probably in the 10s of thousands, if that. there is probably more uzbek fighters with the ttp than there are uzbek afghan refugees in pakistan.
