I would like to know your opinions on our mistake we did as the legitimate government of Afghanistan in the last 12years. In my opinion our one of the biggest mistakes was that we allowed jobless Pakistanis to enter Afghanistan and come to Kabul or Kandahar taking away our jobs we could provide first our own people with. Many "Pashtuns" in Kandahar or Kabul, even in Herat are Pakistani citizens who earn their money in our country while our own Afghan part is discriminated. From my point this is the only thing I would critisize. Please share your view and be polite and respectful.

out of all the mistakes in 12 years, your only complaint is some pakis coming to work in the country? what the
1: government was not legitimate since it was installed directly by america.
2 - 100: the results of point #1 and the consequences which are too numerous to list individually. occupation, lack of sovereignty, corruption, immunity of communist/mujahadin criminals, you name it.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

By that token all the American contractors were far worse because they lived like Kings and their salaries left the region.
Or maybe not. It was American money in the first place.
I have met Pashtuns from Pakistan in Kabul and the surrounding areas. Most of them are not in the categories of greedy foreign contractors and were generally employed as low paid teachers, clerical workers or on construction sites as laborers.

The reason why Pakistanis are employed is because Afghans are lazy. They dont to learn physical labour and thus we lack skilled labourers.
Most Afghans I know discourage their children from learning building skills because it doesnt give them any prestige or status. Instead they encourage their children to become doctors, engineers, lawyers and administrators.
The desires and expectations of our people do not match the requirements of our economy.
If we let our hindu culture behind us and stop caring about status, we might get some where.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

1. In 2001 Taliban offered to surrender, if they could safely return home, but USA refused the offer.
2. In 2001 and onward, The Taliban vanished completely unto 2005. Americans in that period of time only gave ISAF the mandat in Kabul. Basically there were 2 kind of military there. ISAF an assistance force whose mission was to help the government and construction in Afghanistan. While US Forces were there to hunt al-queda and Taliban.
Since ISAF mandat was only in Kabul. USA hired and worked with local warlords. This way the environment turned into 1990 Afghanistan. In that time Americans was bombing indiscriminately and didn't even respect Afghan culture. Wedding bombing were very common at that time. All this gave a foothold to Taliban reemergence. It is only after Taliban reemergence, that they start thinking of rebuilding Afghanistan. At that time it was to late.
So basically USA missed two chances, to make Afghanistan peaceful. If they simply started with their nation building in 2001 to 2006. All this turmoil could have been avoided, or accept the surrender at 2001, which also would have resulted in peace.Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.
People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

If we had accepted the Taliban´s surender in 2001 our situation wouldn´t be today better but even worse. They still would fight and kill innocent people, do suicide within mosques, civilians, hide behind civilians, women and children until they could establish themselves again. Taliban´s war will goes on until they imposed themselves over all Afghanistan and later over all muslim countries.Originally posted by DSM0305 View Post1. US´s cooperation with ''warlords'' was due the landscape they were unfamiliar with. And there is a saying - the enemy of my enemy is my friend. There was just not any other solution in post 2001 because what should have done US with people with no support, no backing from civilians and no men? ... an ordinary citizen of Afghanistan would be on the wrong position. You want to build or start a reconcilation then you need the different party´s leadership to come together..

Yes and No. Still suicide among pupils and students is high in Afghanistan who fail exams or a class.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostThe reason why Pakistanis are employed is because Afghans are lazy. They dont to learn physical labour and thus we lack skilled labourers.
