It's legal there, tribal law and jirga run the show. There's about 2 million afghans which are 'registered refuges' in Pakistan, then there's many more unregistered aswel, to add to this number even more there's also casual migrants, workers etc..most of these are Pashtun, it's no coincidence they are the same race living in the same part of the country & it would never happen if Pashtuns on the Pakistan side were THAT bothered/passionate about the durran line. Yeah ok Pakistan boasts about helping afghans into Pakistan as if it was some choice..truth is there's not much the non-Pashtuns could do about Pashtun citizens from Pakistan accepting their fellow Pashtuns over from Afghanistan. Your talking about a dominant race here, why you think we always fighting and stereo typed, it makes people feel insecure. We have only few pashtu speakers from afghanistan here.

also how do you know al-afghani is paki?

some times you speak complete non-sense. there far bigger issues than a language issues. no body is forcing any body to learn either language. its a personal choice. the pashtu is still alive thanks to afghanistan. most of the afghan intellectuals and politicians speak pashto. even dostum tires to communicate in broken pashtu. look at Qunduz what language is dominating there? no one supports the durand line. especially the tajiks.
