  • Time to mine, fence the Durand Line

Our brotherly neighbour, Pakistan, suffers too much from Afghan drugs and crime.

What can we do to ease their suffering? Mine, fence and monitor the border!

    1. Fence the areas of the border that are not mountainous.
    2. Place mines on terrain that is hard to navigate.
    3. Build bunkers, watch towers and checkpoints.
    4. Install cameras, have helicopters ready to shoot at infiltrators, drones for monitoring.
    5. Only allow people to visit Pakistan with temporary work visas.
    6. Only allow traffic to go through certain posts.

    Good fences make good neighbors.
    Pak-Afghan friendship Zindabad!

Everyone is entitled to express their opinion, but be respectful and don't name call or insult.

Back to the topic. I would rather see everyone in this world burn to the ground than fencing the Durand line.

Actually there should be a free pass for everyone in Pakistan and Afghanistan to move back and forth.

What Pakistan should do.Which i believe will be in favour of Both Pakistanis and Afghansitan people in long run

*Fence the Border and than mine it
*Put heavy security patrol across the boder
*Since Suparco will launch the remote sensing satellite this year,Put its coverage on the border with a dedicated office created for this aswell such as one will be created for the coverage of Pak-indo border
*Stop Not only NATO supply line but Afghanistan civilian supply aswell since the route through Iran is already Open and operational
*Give citizenship to the existing Afghanistan refugees in Pakistan to end this drama,
          *don't allow any further refugees
*Put a Visa system,A visa should be only for either 15-30 days.Except that only students should be given a extended visa
*Don't interfere in Afghanistan internal issues.
*Delink ISI and its proxy support for Afghanistan taliban

With this Done.We will be able to Defeat TTP easily.Afghanistan and Pakistan relations will get better and better since they will not blame each other for everything happening with their respective countries.

And in long run it will be better for both Pakistan and Afghanistan

This is a farsiwan's a wet dream to fence the border. Its their agenda to prevent a lar aw bar pashtun alliance because if a loy afghanistan happens, they will be completely outnumbered in population and become a bigger minority in the country. Pashtuns from KPK cross the durrand line every day because they don't need a visa to be in their own country and they don't recognize the line.

Lets just say, its not happening. Pashtuns are to strong to be divided and one day pakistan will meet its demise and the durrand line will be completely shattered. If the british couldn't split pashtuns with their imaginary line, what makes you think a wooden fence will?

You are right wroora. It is porkis wet dream as well. So they can control and enslave more Pashtun people. And it gives them one target only, India. Otherwise Porkis are surrounded.

The truth is that Pakistan doesn't like Afghans crossing into their land. They are sources of weapons, drugs, disease, violence, extremism.

LOL. Do you know that Pakistanis think Afghans are ungrateful and want to kick them all out?

You can no longer legitimately cross into Pakistan without being registered.

PESHAWAR: Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) on Tuesday has been installed at Pak-Afghan Torkham border to prevent entry of terrorists in Pakistan, DawnNews reported.
The new IBMS was installed at 121 entry and exit points including Torkham border and the system was linked with Interpol, Passport, National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
                http://www.dawn.com/news/745193/ibms...-afghan-border

Paki Pashtuns don't come to Afghanistan unless for work that Afghans can't do (engineers, teachers, doctors), certainly not to permanently settle. They must be out of their mind, considering the instability and a possible future civil war.

This is what Pakis say about ungrateful Afghans (who are mostly Pashtun).

We Pakistanis, have been loving Afghans for 30 years - we have housed them in our bosom while they, the Afghans, have been busy burning their house down.

The results of this love are so profound that every Afghan hates us Pakistanis - their misogynist mullahs hate us, their women hate us, their youth hate us, their intellectuals hate us - they all hate us.

I wonder if Pakistanis have the imagination to see what a difference the money being spent on Afghans who have always been a hostile people could do if it were spent in Pakistanis. The $500 million we have gifted them could have been used on schools, hospitals, and Universities for Pakistani citizens.

The needs of the hour are:
                1. Pakistan should expel all 3 million Afghans refugees from Pakistan – there is no need to host a people who are ungrateful and hostile to Pakistanis
                2. The resources Afghans consume in Pakistan: schools, hospitals, universities should go to Pakistanis – no point in giving these to a people, Afghans, who hate us Pakistanis
                3. Pakistan should not provide transit trade to Afghans – it will reduce drugs and guns in Pakistan.
                4. List item

Also, the British did split up the Pashtun. See: the Durand Line.

                1. All Afghan Governments have implicitly agreed to the Durand Line (including the Karzai Admin)
                2. The signer of the Durand Line Treaty - Abdur Rahman Khan did not question the validity of the Treaty
                3. Amanullah did not object to it (either "ailanan" ve "resman")
                4. Zahir Shah did not object to it (it being the treaty)
                5. The Hezb-e dimūkrātĩk-e (PDP) did not object to it
                6. The leader of the Hizb-e-Mujahedeen, Aqa Mujadadee did not object to it

Quoting from 2 year old articles that hold no weight anymore isn't getting your point across. The fact is that pakistan had tried to fence the border before during the musharaf era until the afghan government figured out what they were doing and bulldozed it down. So you see where i'm getting at? the afghan government does NOT recognize the durrand line and never will. Even pathetic karzai objects it and so does armanullah saleh (a tajik).

                  This is what the afghan forigen ministry says;

And the official reaction was curt, with the Afghan Foreign Ministry issuing a statement on October 23 saying that Kabul "rejects and considers irrelevant any statement by anyone about the legal status of this line." The status of the Durand Line, the statement added, was a matter of "historic importance for the people of Afghanistan."
Did you know america told pakistan once to give the occupied lands back to Afghanistan? Just because afghans are dealing with nato in their country doesn't mean the loy afghanistan talks have been forgotten about. Its currently on hold and will be brought back up and there is nothing pakistan or you panjsheris can do about it.

The fact that you as a tajik opened this thread requesting a fence to be built is proof you are scared of a pashtun alliance.

The "Loy Afghanistan" concept is a dream. It could be called "LOL Afghanistan"

It does not matter if Karzai doesn't recognize it. The world doesn't see it as disputed region like Kashmir.

The only way of redrawing it, is by the use of force. Good luck trying to go against a nuclear nation. Afghans have been losing wars since the rise of the Sikhs.

You say this yet you're under the boot heels of said Pashtuns for 3 centuiries. Remember you're only "Al-Afghani" due to Afghan colonization.

                      A little humility please.

I'm by no means a Pashtun Nationalist, but I can pretty much safely determine you're a Tajik who is a Tajik Nationalist chaffing in angst, which I find equally as annoying. Actually more annoying since your lot tend to be extremely cocky of your alleged accomplishments yet all you have to show for it is being treated as second class.

How do you know he is paki?
He is tajik and fluent in parsi.
If pakis speak parsi then you are right.

If the govt of afghanistan dose not recognise duraniline then why there is visa for the pashtuns of east.
There should,nt be any visa for pashtuns in the first place.
I know few people working as an engineer in afghanistan and are pashtuns from pashtunkhwa. They give up their job cus to much search by parsiwans in kabul and north.
On other side millions of pashtun from afghanistan walking freely and are doing business in pashtunkhwa. We have Gandup camp in our area now most of them settled and live like local people.
While in afghanistan where i have been more then one time.Your visa will be checked and will be asked many questions spacaily by parsiwans.
Pashtuns crossing durandline everyday without permission from pakis and afghanis many of them got killed.
If fence the border that will harm the afghan-pashtuns not us.
I hope the geratmand pashtana of both side should never care what parsibans and punjabis say.
It is pashtunland and there should,nt be any visa or restriction.
If parsibans want to fence the border then the iranian and tajik-uzbik border should also be fenced.
