Whats wrong with Loy Afghanistan?

When Afghans use the term Loy Afghanistan they mean this:



But what is wrong with this map?

And why isn't it Loy Afghanistan?

I will give you some answers now.

Did you know that Afghanistan, before the Durand line was created claimed Gorno-Badakhsan?

We fought several wars over that area, sacrificed thousands of soldiers.

And now our brothers forget to continue or claim for that area, is that how we honor our fellow countrymen, who died for that case.

So from now on, when you decide to put a map of Loy Afghanistan up, be damn sure that this area is included:

That is just Pashtun nationalism at its finest. None of those parts were ever part of a previous afghan empire nor was it ruled by any pashtun ruler.

Look i'm all for a Loy Afghanistan but you guys are taking it too far, there are no ethnic pashtuns in gorno-badakshan nor in mary. Just stop this, this is making us look worse than persian nationalists.

But it seems that with the Durand line, we forgot our other interest as well, because of a bigger threat to our nation.

Afghanistan should be as big as Iran when it comes to land mass, in order to be a important and strong regional player again.

there are several benefits of taking Mary back.

1. our population will increase, which is needed to be strong and to secure growth
2. Mary and the area are good agricultural lands, with a massive output.

How will you feed Loy Afghanistan, without huge agricultural areas?

3. the area holds vast gas and oil reserves.
4. our border with the rest of Turkmenistan will become easier to control, because it will be natural, the Amu Darya.

Taking Gorno-Badakhsan back will mean.

1. huge mineral deposits = future growth
2. Tourist opportunities
3. bigger border with China = economic growth and more trade.
4. an end to the isolation of Wakhan.

I'm not sure about minerals being in badakshan but there were minerals and recently lithium found in the south and eastern afghanistan. According to this article i read, if afghans mine that lithium, they could become one of the richest countries in the world. The north in general has no natural resources (i'm from the north so trust me on this) other than gas but thats in sheberghan. Northern Afghanistan is already good for agriculture and farming so we don't need to go beyond the amu darya and take peoples land. Pashtun land stops at the oxus in NA it doesn't go beyond it.

Pashtuns need education to progress so we can make our country a better place, not useless isolated land.
