Hello brothers

I always wondered why there isn't an union similar to EU in South Asia. Imagine it for a moment. Think about all the opportunities it will bring the various countries in the region.

Not only will it boost our economy, but it will also resolve bad blood between us. The conflicts that drives us today, will be resolved by this union.

To give an example. The conflict between India and Pakistan around territorial disputed land, Kashmir. If we in south Asia could move around freely between the countries, then Kashmirs people could move freely between disputed areas. Then the problem will be solved since there would be no point in fighting.

Another example would be the Pashtun problem. If Pashtuns could move freely back and forth between the countries, then we will basically be united. Maybe not in term of country, but in terms of language, culture, trade, interaction etc. That way we wouldn't have to worry about durand line.

These problems will be solved and many more.

Our economy will skyrocket, since all our nations businessmen would have free pass to each country. This will make it easier to create businesses.

Later on if this union show success, we could expand it to central Asia as well.

We would no longer be some small fry, but rather competing with USA, China and Europe in terms of power in world scale.

It's not possible because of security concerns. I am sure Indians wont want pakistanis walking freely everywhere in India, same thing for Indians walking freely in Pakistan.

Of course this is the ideal situation, but countries have to be at peace to do this

This is possible,Many would think this is not possible but believe me this is certainly possible

Less education and poverty usually lead to extremism.by 2050 when the south asian countries will have higher per capita.This will further mean Higher standard of living

Secular thinking,We will drop our disputes and would rather want to corporate closer.Than a South asian union is possible stretching from Afghanistan upto Bangladesh and we can even include myanmar

Peace will be archived by this agreement. For security we could still have border security in the same amount we have now. The only differences will be that they wont be checking for pass, but rather weapons.

I know it sound impossible due to high tension between those countries, but Europe was in a far worse situation and they were able to pull it off.

The EU only happened after they killed 100 million of each other over a couple of world wars and came to their senses and realized that unity was a better option for them. South Asia has not yet realized that constant enmity between nations is not in their best interests, hopefully it doesn't take 100 million dead for them to wake up.

Actually many countries from EU avoided big losses and damages in those world wars. The thing with them is, that they saw other countries damaged and learned from them. We are in such fortunate situation that the world wars happened in Europe, and we can learn from it without starting one ourself. If south Asia takes the initiative to do it and avoid racist people like Pakwatan, it will certainly be possible.

You are an idless loser. Without Indian influence on our culture and language Pashtu wouldn´t look today as it looks like. Pashtu and Pashtuns need in the past urban culture to develope their language, culture and to strenghten their own identity. Stop being a f*** racist. You could be the egg of Hitler.
