  • Another question for democrats: the posibility of Dostum becoming president

    Bismillah

    As salamu 3alaykum,

Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai is probably going to win the election.

As you know he does have health problems. Besides, Afghanistan is a country at war. Attacks on the president are not impossible.

If Ahmadzai dies, Dostum will become the president.

Can you explain how this will work out for you?

Dostum killed even my neighbors 6 month old baby because he didnt want him to grow up and seek revenge. Dostum is illiterate. I cant think of him being a ruler of a country.

Please explain how you can support Ahmadzai knowing that there is no guarantee preventing him from dying.

    What is your alternative solution?
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

        I am on the topic.

I am simply reading between the lines and go directly to your point.

What on earth makes you think Dostum would become the predecessor?

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

The people deserve their leaders because they reflect condition of the people that were made by the people be it a democracy or dictatorship, in either case there must be a large segment of society to support the regime for it to survive. If millions of idiots vote for Ghani, then they deserve the prospect of a Dostum presidency. Same goes for if Abdullah is elected, I am not under the impression that most Afghans are super acute people who knows their ish, if the people elect these clowns then they bear the brunt of their policies. It is a different story of the majority of people stay away from elections, but I don't think that will be the case.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
