A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

The video contains parts in pashto by students from Logar and Shakardara.
The part of the speech you dont understand still contains verses of the Quran any muslim should be able to understand.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

its a long video but some pointOriginally posted by khushal View Postso what is he saying?
he is explaining how BSA is not in favour of Afghanistan but it is dangerouse.
- talks about what has been happening the last 12 years.
-compares this agreement with the treaty of gandumak , and the treaties between russia and najeeb.
-he goes on to explain how the afghan mineral resources are already taken/in their control.
-how the deal is already made and how this is a small part of it and wouldnt change much.
-how some traitorous individuals who only think about their personal benefit have signed in the darkness of the night.
-they want their bases to use Afghanistan as a strategic battleground because of Afghanistan being in the heart of Asia.
-are these bases for our defence ? for their own defence? or is it for offensive purposes?
-if America and russia get into a war with eachother and russia was hit from the base in bagram, shindand or helmand, russia will retaliate and fire 500 missiles at bagram. 2 might land on their base and the remaining 498 will fall on the heads of our children.
there are many more points he mentions also quoting from Quran and hadees.
at the end of his speech he asks the gathering to take an oath that they wil not support this agreement and agreeing it to it is treason.
after that a guy tells the gathering how he was arrested by nato soldiers and was stripped naked and they were photographing him. he was told that it was for hygienic purposes but he says it was a lie and they were making fun and laughing at him.He was first brought to an unknown jail which they dont admit to exist than later transfered to bagram.
another hazara/uzbak looking guy explains what Quran says about such deals.
there are also parts in pashto
this gathering was held at kabul university.Last edited by ډګروال; 12-27-2013, 10:10 PM.

I think he means that the Kabul regime has already decided to sign the agreement despite our feelings on the issue.Originally posted by ډګروال View Posttoo late?
how can you as an Afghan wish for that?
or are you saying that as an American seeking american interests? There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
