Pakistan vs The Taliban: Who Will Win?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
Sayyid Qutb -
Pakistan will win and has already won because Pakistan is a state recognized by 200 countries of the world, its army the 6th largest in the world, a nuclear power with democracy, parliament, police, para military forces, a complete government structure of executive, judiciary and legislature with modern education and industrial set up.
Who are Taliban? Marauding hordes recognized by few individuals and some terrorist extremist groups. Their sphere of influence is the barren mountains caves of tribal area. Can they show a single inch of legitimate control any where?
In Afghanistan also Afghanistan will win never Taliban. They have been pushed to few pockets. Modern institutions are talking roots in Afghanistan on the pattern of Pakistan and soon modern Afghanistan will crush forever the savages barbaric rats.

In an open war Pakistani military will defeat the Taliban and other local insurgents easily just Pakistan need these monkies for her ''national depths'' in Afghanistan and India (Kashmir) and proof of the alibi in front of the global community. That´s why they call those Taliban operating in Afghanistan as their good boys and those operating in Pakistan as bad boys supported by Afghanistan (which is silly). Pakistan doesn´t care about its army or police personals (reducing their number this way from the security appararus without showing an anti-Pashtun sentiment) who are the real victims of this Islamabad created and directed war. Non-Pashtun army or police personals who act against Islamabad are damned to die as well from the hands of the TTP and other parties. Islamabad can sacrifies them. Islamabad´s aim is to kill many Pashtun as possible, civilians and state personals, to inflame among the Pashtun tribes a civil war. They also support one faction of the Taliban and backlash another and than turn to the sidelined faction and start to destroy the other faction. The current Taliban´s disunity has its root in this Islamabad practiced policy of Devide and Rule tactics. Everything happens behind closed doors and billions of USD and no Talib group realize what actually happens to them. Mullah Omar have never condemned Pakistan, so Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. Ask yourself why that´s like it is. When Mullah Baradar gave up fighting in Afghanistan and asked for reconciliation Pakistan´s army moved to Karachi´s Pashtun area and taking him out from his hiding place and imprisoning him, killing all his guards and local militias. NATO knows this but unfortunately Pakistan is far more important to NATO than Afghanistan. We don´t know what the Pakistanis have done to Baradar that he won´t be able to tell us what happened to him or if the ISI was behind him. He is no more himself. He is like a dead body. Some days ago Pakistan announced (''unguilty'') she tried her best to force the Taliban leaders to reconciliation but they failed. Pakistan need Afghanistan as a corridor to central asia and as a door to Afghanistan´s natural resources. Seems they are very strong focused on Afghanistan´s rare minerals which can help them to dominate the entire electric market.

lol @ u taking the title literally.
btw didn't the afghan taliban take kabul in 96? you know, the UN recognized afghan government that had its president(rabbani) and prime minister(hekmatyar) destroying kabul? i mean that really set the bar, before that i have never heard of a president and prime minster fighting each other to the death. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Yes I took it literally because this question is in the minds of many. Many think Taliban will take over Afghanistan soon and one day Pakistan too.Originally posted by randolph85 View Postlol @ u taking the title literally.

Both Rabbani and Hikmatyar are/were Mullahs so their fighting was not democratic struggle for power. I am against such Islamists as well as violent communists. The best way is what we see in US or any G8 or any developed country where elections are held after a limited number of years.
In Afghanistan this is happening for the last 10 years, thanks God.

yes, thank god that afghanistan is now the most corrupt nation on earth and loyalties can be purchased with foreign money instead of ideology that people will stand by through thick and thin. its always good to know that our leaders have villas in dubai to flee to in case the heat gets too hot for them in afghanistan.Originally posted by Badlun View PostYes I took it literally because this question is in the minds of many. how many people stood by najib when he was devoid of foreign money before he died? how many would stand by karzai when he doesn't have american money behind him? no one will fight for your leaders out of ideology because these leaders have no ideology and what ideology they have does not inspire pride or nationalism.
its funny because u say u are against violent "islamists" like rabbani while it is his jamiat that make up the bulk of the karzai government and have ever since the west gave them free reign since late 2001. when america wanted to invade afghanistan, it wasn't people like u they contacted it was the jamiatis that they called to storm taliban strongholds.
so how will you feel when anti pashtun abdullah 2x is elected next year?Last edited by randolph85; 12-21-2013, 01:22 AM.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. I usually agree with your standpoint except your hatred for Pakistan and especially the more than 40 million Pakistani Pashtuns. Do you know the geo-strategic importance of a country. Afghanistan cannot change its neighbors. Whatever happens Afghanistan has to keep good relations with all its neighbors including Iran and Pakistan.
If these countries are the enemies of Afghanistan, Afghanistan has to reconcile and being an intelligent player should make its own position strong and engage its neighbors in a positive way. If Pakistan needs minerals from Afghanistan, Afghanistan should sell it and may buy something from Pakistan to have foreign trade not aid.
If Pakistan is using Afghanistan or Taliban then Afghans should denounce its own people used by others instead of Pakistan because Pakistan and any other country will do whatever they deem appropriate in its own national interest.Last edited by Badlun; 12-21-2013, 01:25 AM.

Afghanistan is a nascent democracy. It will take some time that the things will get settled on institutional level and we will have corruption free system with rule of law.Originally posted by randolph85 View Postyes, thank god that afghanistan is now the most corrupt nation on earth and loyalties can be purchased with foreign money instead of ideology that people will stand by through thick and thin. its always good to know that our leaders have villas in dubai to flee to in case the heat gets too hot for them in afghanistan.

My candidate is Ashraf Ghani. I am doing campaign for him in parts of Kunar. Abdullah is also an educated person claiming Pashtun heritage but I know Ghani personally and he has a lot more capability than Abdullah.
I am worried our votes will be divided between Qayom Karzai and Ghani Ahmad zai. Abdul rahim wardak and Arsala will also destroy many votes. But this is part of the game. Zalmay Rasoul seems non entity but can cash his parsiwanism and may damage some votes of Abdullah.

You have missunderstood me. I don´t hate Pakistan or its ordinary people but like most people around the globe I hate Pakistan´s military goverment that promotes terrorism and I hate guys like Gadoonwal and his akins who coming here as Pakistanis, insulting us, our mothers, our fathers, disrespect our country, our sisters, calling us names, actually supporting the war against Pashtuns, invading Pashtun lands, destroying Pashtun schools, hospitals, infrastructure, streets, homes, burning down forests, taking our water, invading our land with their Panjabi brothers and yet want us to form with them ''Greater Pashtunistan'' (an excuse or alibi to reach their political goal by such a sweet topic- just fooling Pashtuns in Afghanistan) to own us. They already burned our country to ashes, didn´t they? It was those ''Gadoonwalis'' (even the name is indic!) and those Pakistani ''Khaljis'' or opened Afghanistan for Pakistan. What sort of Pashtuns (if they are really Pashtuns and not any Pakistani who pretends to be a Pashtun (Pakistan´s new tactical cyber war for Afghanistan)) are betraying their motherland for the last 70years???? As earlier I mentioned these Gadoonwalis killed thousands of our army personals in Bajaur who wanted to free them from Panjabis. Those killers who kill everyday Pashtuns, children, burning schools down and forbidde Pashtuns to develope into the modern world are Sindh-Jumper ''PAthans''! Since the creation of Pakistan these people became more and more un-related to us. Unlike Afghanistan the Pakistani had good international partners to build a Pakistan where Pashtuns smartly would become ''ethnic Pakistanis'' not realizing their marginalized position, while Afghanistan was kept as a political world-experiment (buffer zone) between Pakistan, Iran and central asia just to watch how the world could be manipulated and a new world order could be established.... we are the losers and those Pathans are the winners... sorry, if I am sad and frustrated because of this!

those mentioned guys (Mr. Rasoul, Mr. Arsala...) are all in our boat. We just want to have the wider votes since Mr. Wardak is not accepted in Farah but Mr Rasoul is. That´s the tactic. We have also Mr. Bashardost on our side. In return he will become ministrial position, maybe minister of trading.Originally posted by Badlun View PostAfghanistan is a nascent democracy. so by campaigning for ghani, you are also campaigning for dostum lolOriginally posted by Badlun View PostAfghanistan is a nascent democracy. It will take some time that the things will get settled on institutional level and we will have corruption free system with rule of law.

you can throw terms like "nascent democracy" around all you want but when after 12 years of being installed by americans the government is the most corrupt in the world, there are problems. there is a problem when a government supported by the world can't do what the taliban did in about their first 10 minutes in power.
and why do u think pashtun votes will go to karzai or ghani? ghani is a nobody and karzai is even less of a nobody who won't go anywhere especially since hamid does not support him. there is like 1 tajik candidate in abdullah and close to a dozen pashtun candidates. the only pashtun candidate which has any chance is sayaf and considering that you don't care about ideology and only ethnicity, you are better off supporting sayaf. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Do you wish Taliban may win and their winning will make Afghan Taliban further stronger. I am the enemy of Taliban and any one destroying Taliban is my friend. If Taliban wins in Pakistan forget about Pashtuns and Pashtunwali.Originally posted by Kushan Prince View PostDear god, please tell me you are trolling...
There is no nationalism in Islamism and then you will have to hide your Pashtun pride other wise you will be crucified being an apostate.
Both Afghanistan and Pakistan should join hands to defeat their common enemy, the Taliban.

so what ethnic pride is there when your ethnicity accepts the domination of a foreign power? stop having pride in **** you don't have control over like your ethnicity.Originally posted by Badlun View PostDo you wish Taliban may win and their winning will make Afghan Taliban further stronger. Dostum is no more a warlord but a refined and reformed man, the only one who asked pardon for his mistakes. Uzbeks are our Afghan brothers and in democracy what is counted is ballot not bullet. Dostum will give us now many ballets not bullets. Let us see may be some candidates may resign in favor of others.
Pashtun culture and langauge has threat from Parsiwans not from Uzbeks. Their language and culture is suppressed like that of Pashtuns.
