as for these moronic claims of yours we dont even need to look it up as you are as delusional and irrelavant as soldat boy.
Awww You're being a conspiracy theorist now; Come on, the real reason you're upset with me is because you know I'm right, and you've tried so hard to live in your little bubble of denial and I'm ruining that for you.

If you don't "need" to look it up, then that means you know I'm right and you're afraid to see it for yourself.

    • Good on those minorities for refusing to call themselves Afghans, I'm Pashtun and I refuse to call myself Afghan. I hope everything Pashtun and Afghan ghets forgotten as a backwards relic of history

The only identity that matters is Muslim; ethnicity has ruined our society, it's divided too many people and makes us stuck in the past rather than moving to the future.

Death to Pashtunism, Long Live Islam.

I didn't say "ALL" Tribal girls are like that you guys were deluding yourselves into believing that Pashtuns who live in Pashtun culture all live by higher moral codes. I posted that article to show you that even in Pashrun Tribal belt, the heart of Pashtun land , there are Pashtun girls who will run away with Punjabi because Pashtun culture is so intolerable, they want to run away and they're willing away to throw away their izzat to do it.
claim what ever you want to be but looks like the pashtuns here dont accept you as a pashtun or your fashistic secterian ideology .

You are replacing one backwardness for another.

But the right destiny for Afghanistan is becoming a giant museum, or wild life reserve. It can show the rest of the world how NOT to run a country.

              • How can a sophisticated system of life like Islam be even remotely compared to backwardness? You either don't know anything about Islam except what some village Mullahs taught you or you don't know the meaning of backwards.

Aren´t Hazaras mixed as well with real Afghans living in the regions they today dominate, my Turkish friend? :D You are born as a begger without own language and culture. What makes you proud, you Khalji? You are just an adoptive kid of the larger Afghan people. Turks like Uzbeks have pride, own culture and language. What have you? Nothing except Mullah Omar lol Till the 18th century the name Afghan was used only for Durrani Afghans while you were called just as Khalji. That is proof enough that you aren´t Afghan but a foreigner that adoptet our language and culture and of course OUR IDENTITY. That means without us you still would suffer from ID crisis.

whats the problem with khilji they are great pashtuns their sultanat from iran to afghanistan to india was famous for cultur and peace and they fightet the mongol invaders out, last great khilji was mirwais hotak the afghans calling him neeka.anyways the hazaras are mongolian imigrants maybe like you.the name afghan is older than you think i opend just for this name a own thread in the history section here.the name afghan was nearly 500 years ago used by khushal khan khattak like by the khilji.the khilji tribe is one of the largest pashtun group in afghanistan to mix them with turks like this banned rtr did is just ridiculous.even the historians dont know the origin of the pashtun tribe.if you have problems with the taliban not my problem dont try to mix yourself as afghan its even not clear what you are.

Shamlawar grew up in Afghanistan; while I don't like his views, he's right Kandahar was a predominantly Ghilzai city in the 1700's until under the assistance of the Persians came.. Ahmad evetually heisted it.

We view Ahmad Durrani as a hero but he is no different than Shah Shuja and Karzai, welcoming foreign invaders in hopes of piggy backing into power.
Brother, at the moment I am too busy to have time for myself. How can I please other people? I am stressed running here and there. I didn´t say I will bring you the source the next day. I said I will provide it when I have more time. Just have a bit patience.

How can Kandahar have been a Ghilji city when Ghiljis were 100years ago mostly nomads? I repeat it for your again. Modern Kandahar city is a new built one by Ahmad Shah Baba. The ancient Kandahar was destroyed and depopulated by the wars between Iranians and Mughals and even before it was under attacks of foreigners. Just a fast search on Google about Kandahar. Haven´t read them carefully but I think it explains a bit. Have a nice day and happy new year brother.

''The first colonial account of Kandahar comes from Mountstuart Elphinstone (II, pp. 129-34), who describes the city as having been laid out in 1753 or 1754 by Aḥmad Shah Abdāli/Dorrāni astride Hōtak, Ṣafavid, and Afsharid (Arne) urban antecedents. Elphinstone estimated the population to be broadly between 45,000 and 100,000 souls, among whom Afghans, particularly Dorrānis, preponderate. While making an important distinction between urban and rural Afghans, Elphinstone also clearly distinguished Afghans from the resident Arabs, Armenians, Baluchis, Fārsiwāns (e.g., Qezelbāš), Hindus, Jews, Persians, and Uzbeks. The second colonial estimate of the city’s population at 25,000-30,000 comes from Charles Masson (I, p. 280; Whitteridge), who resided in Kandahar during approximately the late summer and fall of 1828.''

''Ancient urban developments. The urban complex, or, rather, the successive urban complexes located in the oasis, certainly go back to very ancient origins, even to the beginnings of urban society. But the modern city is recent, only two and a half centuries old (see below). The question remains as to where the town or towns that preceded it were situated (Figure 1).

About 4 km to the southeast of present-day Kandahar extends a broad field of ruins, known today in the popular language as Šahr-e kohna (“the old city” = Pashto Zoṛ šār). The term indicates the place occupied by Kandahar up to the 18th century. The choice of this area was certainly due to the defensive possibilities offered by the rock ridge of Qaytul. Reaching about 1,400 m elevation, it dominates (by ca. 400 m elevation) the alluvial plain spread below it. A citadel was built at the top and secured the hill. This defensive site has the advantage of being the northernmost of the rocky outcroppings scattered along the plain, and the closest to the top of the alluvial cone; from it one can control and supervise the irrigation system. Qaytul may well have been the single focal point for all the major urban developments in the oasis from ancient times to the 18th century. However, this has not been proven, and the historical conditions under which there emerged the powerful city that existed there up to the end of the Middle Ages, and in modern times, remain obscure.''

Nadir shah wiped out old kandahar in 1738 and founded a new city (originally called "Nadirabad") and many durranis, who at the time were allies of nadir shah, were settled in there along to many qizilbash.

                            Question for you:

Who are the true inhabitants of Balkh and NA in general? I mean the north has been invaded looted and massacred tons of times by the mongols, Persians and even the timurds. It's even stated that the north was the most depopulated in Ahmad Shah's times so are the majority of Tajiks actually immigrants over there?

Unless you can provide us some evidence about what you are saying about Kandahar then great go ahead an provide it, but if not, then stfu you freakin farsiwan!
