Your Arab brothers in crime came to Afghanistan to find cheap brides, married poor rural girls by paying their fathers American dollars, ran away after 9/11 and left hundreds of women and their children alone in Pakistan.
They considered Afghans as inferior people and those people were the ones you looked up to as your Akhis.
Nationalism in it´s extreme form is as bad as any internationalist ideology like Political Islam because it lacks any natural foundation and the result is always a perverted utopia that ruins millions of lifes.

I think that's unfortunate but who allowed all that, it was a problem already within the Pashtun psyche, the Arabs certainly weren't forcing anyone to marry off their daughters. Why do Pashtuns have such a greedy materialistic attitude that the idea of selling off their daughter is even a negotiable option?
The Ikhwan nor the Ikhwan ideology is responsible for any of that, Arabs from the Middle East is not Equal to "The Ikhwan" And, furthermore this narrative is a bit skewed, Arab women who came along with those people, married local Afghan men as well. They may have been fewer, but only because fewer came along. Most of those "Arabs" were not from the Gulf but were Algerians, Moroccans, Egyptians, Iraqis and Yemenio from generally poor to middle class backgrounds, so this "Arab Supremacist" dictum you're appealing to seems unlikely.

Nationalism is a simple concept of promoting your culture and language. It has nothing to with war, politics etc. Of course it can have influence on it, but it isn't directly related to it.
Lets say you had two choices. You could promote your language or you could promote another random language. In this case of scenario wouldn't it be logical to promote your own?
