well that's because "Ahmad Shah Baba' was a ghulam of Nadir Shah Qoli; he was a servant of the Persian Safawid/Afshari Army to reconquer the Pashtuns and bring them under the subjugation of the the Asfharid/Safawid authority once again. Afghanistan was without Soviet and US funds nothing even in the 60s. The Americans and Russians built schools, air ports, universities, streets, high ways. All these things were before the 60s very rare. The Dawood Khan era is considered still by many people (not only in Afghanistan) as the most corrupt era with the most corrupt government on world. During Zaher Shah ''Baba'' era in the south, particularely Helmand, Farah, Urusgan, according to western observers, around 500 000 people died because of starvation and noone said anything. According to the corrupt government of that era only 50 000 people lost life (I hope Barakzai Abdali stops to insult Mr. Hamed Karzai). The Khalq faction was mainly from Khost, Paktia and other provinces where Psahtun nationalism is very strong. They have even forbidden women to become ''modern''. They wanted to keep their daughters traditionally. Only men had the right to get a good education and doing career. Khalqis were ultra-Pashtun nationalists. The Parcham faction was the factor that gave marginalized minorities rights. Not under Khalq Pashtuns Uzbek became important for the government and did not converted to socialism but during the Parcham faction. The Parchamis were the first one who made a Hazara Afghanistan´s first non-Pashtun vice-president. The Khalqis killed Dawood Khan because he 7 weeks before stopped to fight for Pashtunistan issue.

Since I'm a Hotaki, we have a legend that we are originally connected with Uzbeks or some other Turkish people too; Hotaki are not originally Pashtuns as well but that was further back at least 6-7 centuries before Ahmad Shah and Mir Was Khan Hotak's era.

Second your progressing the fascist farsiwan narrative to label any resistance to their dominance as a foreign Pakistani proxy bent on the destruction of Afghanistan. What your trying to do is to emotionally distance the Pashtun population of Afghanistan from the Pashtun population of Pakistan, to basically extinguish the want of unity because a unified Pashtun society would completely exterminate the fascist farsiwan leadership.

Pashtuns do not dominate this government since its Pashtuns that suffer the most from this government and its from the Pashtuns populous that have organized an insurgency against the government.
