When has that ever happened? Lol...Originally posted by Hallo View Postwhat do you think under which influence will ukraine be?
3. ukraine will find their own way
Ukraine's curse is the division in its population. The eastern parts will always be pro-Russian and the western parts will always be pro-EU/America. Very few people there make a choice because it is in their national interests. Usually it has to do with nonsense like language/alliance during WOII/feelings about communism/finding someone to blame for the holodomor/, etc.
Speaking of the Ukraine, I remember kickin' it in Khmelnitsky. Awesome time (for me, as a child that was oblivious to everything around him). I remember the elderly Ukrainian neighbor lady getting mad because I was sitting in 'her' tree eating cherries, all day long, everyday. She called me a 'tsiganchonok' (gypsy)!

The polls should have an option: Europe
However Europe and US are the same in their political and economic approach. Not only Ukraine but one day you will see even Russia applying for EU membership. If it is a WTO member it will be one day EU member too.
Putin is the last democratically elected dictator but Russia and the whole world will one day opt for the Western system which is so close to human nature and human needs.

why would any nation want to join the bankrupt and debt riddled EU?
Look at Bulgaria and Georgia- they are part of the EU, and both those nations economies have become worse. Any trade union associated with the dollar will sink because the oil producing countries have already moved away from using the dollar for oil/trade. Saudi trade oil in Chinese currency with China, Iran sells its oil for gold, and Russia uses its own currency.
Due to the oil producing nations moving away from the dollar, this is part of the reason the US/EU economies will never recover.
