4: Unrestricted mass transit and trade route.
5: Integrated primary and higher education & .
6: Integrated working rights.
7: Language promotion in both countries.
8: Integrated strategic & defense regime.
9: Integrated policy on narcotics , rights to have arms , national database etc.
10:Free trade & transit to Pakistani ports for Afghan goods.

Benefits to Pakistan:

1: End of conflict right on the border

Pakistan has nothing to gain but to loose everything with a merger with afghanistan

*all the pashtun majority region in afghanistan are as good as dud.
*tajiks/Uzbeks region are mineral rich and instead of a merger with pakistan they will opt for their historic country khorasan or join either iran or uzbekistan
*Pakistan will become a terrorism hell
*pakistan will have no future and dead
*Peshawar/Lahore/karachi will be flooded with afghanistanis and they will leave their DUD region aka the pashtun majority region in afghanistan
*Pakistan per capita will decrease
* we will become like afghanistanis to be either under Soviet or 42 countries
*there are only 8millions pashtuns in Afghanistan while close to 40millions in pakistan.we don't need afghan pashtuns but they need us

If you think about it, we don't have problems with Pakistan in term of race or religion. Our problem with Pakistan is much deeper and allot more political. By having that sort of relation with Pakistan, it will terminate our political issues with them.

hell he's not talking about a complete merger but just a union.that can be split anytime.

While Afghanistan will gain

*massive build up
*increase in per capita by 3 folds

But in all honestly, If Pakistani Pashtun regions are so poor, why do millions of Afghans cross the border to settle in those war-torn regions?
