Hi everyone, I hear a lot of news about Afghan tazkira on afghan chanels, about the thing that they wanted to remove what religion a person has and what is his ethnicity, what do you think about it, there is some heated discussion about it.....

Religion is some one's personal matter.

No where in the world they ask you for identification of your religion in any document except in the so called Islamic Republics of Pakistan , Afghanistan and may be some other Salafi states.

Completely agree. Afghan government is completely retarded. It would have been ideal to just include Nationality and Religion. It would have helped Afghanistan's unity, especially for times like this, unity is essential for stabilizing Afghanistan.

If they are so full of selfrespect and refuses to call himself Afghan, he can live to his Tajikistan Uzbackistan or Turkmenistan, those countries are named after there ethnicity and those countries also have difrent ethnic people, but still all of them are Tajik or Uzback in documents, but only in Afghanistan those ethnofacist refuses to accept there nationality -_-. You all need to stop hating and accept that Afghan is your nationality if you don't want that, you are free to live.

writing of ethnicity in taskira is not needed and it is pushed by some warlords and criminals who are hoping for a civil war where they can idetify who is who much like what the french did in rwanda.

As for religion , it is obligatory and has always been written in the taskira.

If non Pashtuns do not wish to be called Afghans then why not the name of nationality may be changed to Afghanistani to differentiate it from ethnicity.
