How much is the numerical strength of Taliban? Maximum 50,000.

How much is the population of Afghanistan? More than 30 million

Do you think this very very small fraction of 50,000 is a national resistance movement against foreign occupation? No, not at all.

Its only an ideological movement to implement Wahabi Deobandi Sharia, nothing else. They are using the excuse of foreign occupation to draw attention and sympathies.

Is now any foreign occupation in Iraq? or in Somalia, Mali, Yemen, Syria, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Kenya, Philippines etc? But we see the same ideological movement there.

About half of population of Afghanistan is non Pashtun and as such they are against Taliban( 15 millions are against Taliban). Amongst Pashtuns 50,000 are active Taliban and may have sympathizers as wee see in internet but a sane educated democratic minded Pashtun cannot support such a barbaric bunch of marauding horde.

The videos shown here are just gimmicks of guerrilla war tactics. Taliban are no more recognized rulers of even not a single district in Afghanistan.

The Muj had great difficulty in taking over cities or provincial capitals. They had many artillery pieces, rockets, anti aircraft guns, etc. Today, the Talibs have almost no heavy weapons at all.

They will remain a nuisance for the foreseeable time.

Do you really think that afghan army can stand against Taliban??.. be serious. You sound ridiculous.. if America leave it would take afghan army a month to dismantle...

I think the best strategy would be to suck American co*** and beg them not to leave.. and known laxed farsiban morals, I think it shouldn't be a problem...

You do realize that numbers don't really matter.. and you got t o realize that ANF has no chance to standup against Taliban.. I would love talibans to be dismantled but I don't expect that happening.. if northern alliance was so strong why didn't they make it on their own..? only place that they were really able to hold on to was north eastern corner.. also ANF is a just a bunch of people with guns.. I do not consider it an army.. its takes much longer to create a proper army.. ANF is more like NCC in Pakistan.. where we used to go to this army thing for I think a month each year (Only two years in a row).. eventually, the government decided it was sheer waste of time.. and had to abandon it...

Lol,, by having people wearing uniforms and having them parade with guns doesn't create an army. .. its more like costume party or early Halloween.

When you talk of Punjabis then number matters but when you talk of anti-Taliban elements then number does not matter! a paradox!

ANF will take time but very soon it will be a great force. Afghanistan needs federal institutions. In this 21st century a country cannot run by war lords and tribal chiefs or Mullahs.

but you cant ignor them in your state if you wanna have a homogeneous state so a national peaceprocess is important, but no why a peaceprocess throw oil in the fire because with oil you can clear fire, thats what the usa is doing since their invasion and occupation of afghanistan, this is what the communists did in afghanistan.no neighbour country of afghanistan has a homogeneous state and that in the 21st century oh my good lord.and afghanistan is culturel and religous not compatibl with the western democracy or with your usa. every neighbour country of afghanistan has their ethnical religous problems but they dont try to fix it with war, ok the closest allied of usa pakistan is doing this now over 60 years a massmurderer and killerstaate but they are not succesfull with that, you can see it in the baloch province, kashmir, north west frontier provinces etc. usa was one time succesfull to bomb someone to democracy the nazis over 60 years ago but the war at that time and this time is even not compatibl was a complet other story. you cant force someone to anything with war and your 21st century bullcrap forget this very fast, the usa installed criminal warlords in afghanistan on high positions in goverment army these warlords are not just drug-weapon warlords no they stealing money and are corrupt too, you saw it maybe last time in tv on cnn when a bank in afghanistan was bangrouppt and how the corrupt rats tried to flee with all the stolen money to dubai - emirates, these installed us american warlords are also responsibal for the 70% of opium-heroin worldwide, usa gave them good mafia conections.usa is not the answer of afghan problems they making everything even worster also for the neighbour countrys of afghanistan.usa is someone that gives you a fashistic-dictator-corrupt-fundamentalist puppetgoverment and leaves you with that.so that they can easily steal your ressources or use you as base to controll your country, the area, can play in your neighbour countrys and attack them and you when ever they want. of course the taliban know they cant become the power in afghanistan, i bet they even dont want it. but for them are other points very important.anyways, usa is a super power i thing the mightiest evil world power that ever exists, they could stop their started pathetic war that they even cant win, just with a talk to the taliban, befor their backup nato leaves and usa is alone with some 50 thousend occupierfoces in afghanistan but no the falseflag attacks going on drones going on black water and cia **** going on iran and pakistan has free hands in afghanistan and everyone of these ******* can at last use the name taliban for their games in afghanistan.sing haleluja you pisshead-badlund keep watching american vampir movies and keep dreaming this nonsense of 21st century crap.
afghanistan has jirgas-shuras thats afghan democracy for over 900 years where tribal elders speaking as representant for their village-province in a country with tribes-subtribes-multiethnic.
