You Pashtuns cry about having to live with Tajiks. Try living next to Hindus. Punjabis will gladly switch places with you guys.

I have family that traveled from a village in India to Pakistan. My mother's maternal uncle had his tongue cut out by a Sikh at the age of 7. They killed as many of our unarmed people as they could.

To have an outsider speak upon whether we deserve a nation or not is ridiculous. Although I will admit, many Pashtuns came to help the Muslims of Punjab with swords and guns ready.

But for Afghans to decide whether Muslims don't deserve a nation is unacceptable. You guys didn't live the conditions here.

In the modern world every nation and every tribe is devided. India and Pakistan, Hindus and Muslims, Buddhists, American and English people in Americans, British and Australians, Russians, Pashtuns, Panjabis, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Farsiwans. We should start to live with it or we will never be happy. The ''devisions'' don“t effect our life as individuals if we start to live for our own and self and at most try to have a good effect on our families, neighbours and friends within the boundaries we are living in. Somehow everyone got devided at the same time with the end of old colonialism.

I think muslims should come out of that world domination mentality.. we should jsut fix what we have.. chances are muslims would have never been able to out number hindues in india.. if we look at recent pew survey .. they are more than 23% of the world's population.. so even that is enough to have much say in the world.. but musliims are unable to bank on it.. because they are just incompetent.. or average joes..

Yes there is some racism in India, but lets not pretend that in muslim countries we accept other religions so well. in Pakistan peopel even blow up shia places.... the same in other countries....
The difrence is that India does adress the problem en want to solve it, its not turning a blind eye to it, an most importantly I have never seen public discrimination of minorities in India, like what they do in Pakistan.

Partition is the best thing that happened to India.i think the hardcore/extremists people went to Pakistan..and moderate/secular people left in today's' India..
I don't believe the Undivided India would be that of today's' developing economically sound India..Muslims contributed heavily in Indian heritage/diversity & many Muslims owns strong positions in Indian government/politics..
Of course there are communal problems/Clashes happens as India is still a third world country..& it will take another 20 Years at current growth rate to eradicate communal forces and drive towards democratic secularism..

Who is a Muslim? A follower of Islam. Islam is a religion and religion determines your beliefs, worship and morality. You can be Muslim anywhere if you believe in Islam. You do not need to be citizen of India or Pakistan or Iran or Afghanistan but even in Israel or North Korea you can practice islam. Yes Wahabi Islam will always try to have a state.

Do not attach the political concept of state to religion. Religion never shaped states. Arabs just used the name of Islam to expand their power.

If you read Khalid Ibne Saeed on Pakistan, it will become crystal clear that Pakistan was created on economic or feudal grounds not religious. Jinnah was a secular modernist educated Muslim. All religious scholars and parties opposed Pakistan. Once Pakistan was created then they started using name of Islam to have their say and prestige in the new country.

lol it isnt that simple.. most people on western side of indus stayed where they are.. there wasnt much movement of these people (KPK, Baluchistan).. even alot of sindhies stayed where they are.. only punjab and muhajirs saw much movement.. many from pakistani punjab went to india (non-muslims) and many muslims from various indian states came to pakistan and are now called muhajirs (Most of them settled in Sindh and Punjab).. THe punjabies that came from india assemilated well in pakistani punjab.. while non-punjabies are still trying to assimilate (or not).

It wasnt as black in white.. like how about all the seculars go to india and .. rightists move to pakistan.. lol

                      Khan saab,

While my family is from majority of western Punjab, my nani's side(maternal grandmother's family) came from East Punjab. But they were on the border, from Jalandar.

After partition, many Muslim landowners and the affluent class had to leave their lands for the Sikhs/hindus, and receive petty compensation for it from the government of Pakistan.

Imagine leaving 30 acres for a plot out in a dry area of Pakistan from government.

The Hindus/Sikhs are our enemies. They had all the weapons after serving the british in WWII.

Punjabi Muslims only had farm tools to defend themselves from mobs of hindus/sikhs that would impale infants and cut off the breasts off Punjabi women.

As a Punjabi, I am most greatful to Pashtun tribals who came and annihilated these vermin. I feel sad in my heart and proud at the same time, that a Muslim Punjabi never took revenge on these apes, but a Muslim Pashtun did.

That's why I can happily Pashtun Zindabad.

Actually, my famly (Moms side) had volunteered to go into india and escort muslims back from India. yes.. My mom's side is from punjab (but they were pathan).. in fact my grandfather was one of the guys who actually attacked sikh for the first time in their area.. before that sikh were the ones constantly attacking muslims.. but you being punjabi assimilated well in punjab.. right?.. Muhajars dont.. for some reason.. its maybe becuase you are/were the sons of the soil (i.e. punjab).

publicly sending terrorist and declaring jihad on Afghanistan is not blaming, it is just stating facts. If it was only Afghanistan you could say that we are making things up, but somehow every country in the region has a problem with Pakistan, not only that even minorities in PAkistan are treaded like ****, and somehow it is not Pakistans fualth. The problem of Pakisan is it excistance, once it is gone there would be no trouble.
