This ruling is abused by many. Thats why we are slaves. What we need is better scholars and better leadership.

The problem of Saudi Arabia is not that the religious people are in favor of the regime. The problem is that most people are happy. They do not want more Islam in Saudi. They want less Islam.

This is why a corrupt regime is still in power.

We have the same proble in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Our religious leadership is weak and unqualified, the people dont want Islam. Those who want it are considered extremists.

If saudi people were good people, their king would be also a better person. Since they are corrupt so is their leader.

Same thing with us. We are a corrupt and immoral nation. Thats why our leaders are just as corrupt as we are.

We may have a few good people here and there. But a few good people are everywhere. Thats not enough to have a good society and government.

You visited Saudi befor. Dont you see how corrupt they are?

All those white thaubs anx black abayas is show. Most of them are corript individuals. What dp you expect?

Flowers dont grow among piles of garbage. How can good leaders emerge among corrupt people?
I have lived in Saudi for 14 years, so yeah I have a pretty good Idea how they are, Islam is all a drama and show for them and even for majority of Pakistanis for that matter. I actually agree with you, rulers usually reflect the state of the people. If you think about it though, this has been going on for centuries in the muslim world, this is nothing new. Muslims as a whole have been corrupt in every way for a very long time, but unfortunately they themselves dont realize it and are mostly blind to this fact.

The whole muslim world needs a big time waking up call.

I never had interactions with Arabs other than in US.

I don't look upto them. I don't care about KSA current events or anything else.

But I am wahabi. Wahab is one of the attributes or names of Allah swt. We don't want to hurt anyone. All we say to other Pakistani Muslims is that they should not worship graves, like Shias. They should speak with Allah swt through duwah, and not through a mullah ya maulvi.

They should not engage in black magic aur tavis.

I don't know how to say tavis in Pashto, but it is a leather square with an inscription within it.

We say, that do not rely on anyone to communicate with Allah swt. You can do it directly. You can do it through duwah.

Wahabis are given bad name, but all we do is try to practice Islam in a simple form, with nothing extra added.

Decades ago there was no such thing as Wahhabism in Afghanistan. We had a lot of Sufis (as illustrated by our poets), but little fundamentalism. When did Wahhabism gain interest in Afghanistan?

Shamlawar is a moron, he understand nothing. The rulers in the middle east are supported by foreigners, without that foreign support, they would be gone in a flash, so these rulers do not reflect the people. It has not been happening for centuries, it started with European colonization and the replacement of the political system with military dictatorships that rule with an iron fist.

That mentality will always keep the muslim public as slaves because all the governments in muslim countries are western puppets, serving western agenda.

Also the problem with Saudis is that they rule the holy lands of Islam, if they didn't rule them, then I think most people would just leave them alone to their miserable condition
In Islam, no one is above the law(Quranic law). your not supposed to rebel against rulers that follow the law(quranic law) even if you don't like them, once the rulers stop following the law, they themselves have put themselves above the law which is what tyranny is so the people must act to restore the rulers below the law back to thier natural state to serve the law therefore the people.

I know these salafis love to hate Iran, but Iran has created a political system that is better than any Sunni state. There are Shia scholars that protect the law and then there are elected officials that convey the voices of the people.

They are supported by foreigners, but the public is also brainwashed to support them, remember it is really easy to buy loyalties of a uneducated mass of people. Muslims as a whole are very uneducated and naive and thus these corrupt rulers and foreigners take advantage of that
This has been going on for centuries in the muslim world, these corrupt monarchies are nothing new, just look at our history and you will find out.

The public has guns pointing at them. It has nothing to do with education. It does not take a genius to know what's good for him/her. You could buy the loyalties of the educated as easily as the uneducated, maybe even easier. It has more to do with trade, you control the economic trade in a region, you control the region.

^ your second point is true, however since when does the public have guns pointed at them??? if you look at Saudi as a case, you will find most Saudis are just lazy to care, and many of them support the Royal Family. Al Saud family is a friend of many of the Tribes that are in Saudi Arabia, these tribes are loyal to the family and have signed a pact with them to rule the country.

Look at Pakistan as a case, many of these corrupt parties have huge support from the feudals that rule the masses in the country.

Shamlawar may be wrong about lots of things, but he right on what he said in that post and that post applies not just to Saudis but majority of muslim countries.

Now that said, good leadership is always important, a good leader can always bring a change in a society. we dont have any leader currently that is willing to work for change and unfortunately there are always political forces that block any sort of good change that starts to arise.

Do not take me wrong but Islam as Islamism is a big drama and show. It will never be real as it was never real. Islam is real as religion but as a political system it will be always a drama everywhere in Saudi or elsewhere. Islam is not meant for politics or culture. It is only faith and morality.

politics is a pony show, secular, islamic or otherwise. secular politics is a drama too, when will you rally against that?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Politics is the ways , means and methodology of democracy or any other political system which is a sine qua non for running a state.

Humans cannot live without a state otherwise there will be an anarchy or jungle law. This is what we see in Pashtunland as there is no state or no effective state especially in tribal areas so we see the mess in that stateless land. Tajiks and Punjabis are more amenable to state so they are progressing materially and culturally. Pashtuns are still living in stone age like situation.

Politics is a very noble profession. Politicians once elected become legislators who make laws and constitutions. On the basis of these laws judiciary and executive function and trade and commerce and other areas are governed. the more the rule of law, the more development we have.

In secular developed countries we have democracy, rule of law , justice, progress, prosperity and all this is because of politics which is a reality not a drama.

Yes Islam or any other religion if applied to politics is a real drama because religion is for the life after death not for this life and in this life only for morality. Read Qur'an. What is mentioned more? Akhirat not this world.
