  • Redrawing new provinces in Pakistan

I feel that it is imperative for pashtuns and baluchs in pakistan to join hands and creat a united provinces.. Because Baluchs are very limited in number but they have seaport.. something pashtuns lack.. without a sea port i feel suffocated.. Its like having no exit door in your house. tell me what do you guys think about the map
What really drives me hazy is it me or are the others crazy

If you are part of Pakistan one state then you can use ports of Karachi and Gawadar.Millions of Pashtuns live in Karachi. There are also landlocked countries in the world.

What I agree with you that Hindkowans should have their own province and Pashtuns of Balochistan should have their own or may join KP.

Too be honest, I think balochis need to reunite with their pashtun brothers if a loy Afghanistan happened. I agree that without acsess to the sea, Pashtuns lack resources.

I dont know how much you know about pakistan.. but (a) Hindkowans and Potoharies are very similar (b) they are not really trusted in their rispective provinces.. Also Rajas, Karalas, Abbasis, Awans, Gujjar, etc etc are major groups in both the regions..
Finnally, see i am much more open minded about other point of view... as compared to come people over here.. By the way meet a couple of pashtuns from Baghlan today.. they were selling umbrellas

Initially We need to merge North and south Balochistan with KPK as Greater KPK.even merging of FATA with the Greater KPK

And No Hazara province will not be created at any cost.Impossible

What difference does it make?KPK and Baluchistan are already part of the same country, there isn't a fence between them, nor between any province in Pakistan, it's not like the Baluch government charges the KPK government for using it's port.

By uniting pashtunkhwa wa baluchistan into one province is always good idea.
Tow years ago i posted here the thread about pashtunkhwa wa baluchistan.
If pashtun and baluch unite into one province that will bring hope of independenc for both nations.Pashtuns and baluch can live side by side in peace with eachother in one united country in the name of pashtunkhwa wa baluchistan. They are similar people with similar culture and can declare pashtu and baluchi its national languages.
Pashtuns and baluchis are no racists to eachother so no group will impose its language o eachother.Unlike parsibans and iranians are racists and have no respect for other languages.
Both baluch and pashtuns need eachother.
We have better understanding with baluchis then farsibans and punjabis.
However it is up to the baluchis and pashtun to decide.
Baluchistan was always a free land with nawabs and khans .
We fully support our baluchi brothers cus our future and freedom is related to baluchistan. There will be no pakistan after azad baluchistan.
In the past baluchis and pashtun form an allaince under bizinjo and wali khan.
                    Pashtuns have choices.
azad pashtunistan with true pashtun identity
                    pashtunkhwa wa baluchistan azad watan
                    greater afghanistan

For the better future of pashtuns access to the sea is very important.
Both pashtunkhwa and baluchistan are so rich in sources.

true.. but see pashtun area is divided into at least four regions, just within pakistan.. ie. KPK, FATA, Baluchistan and some areas of Punjab (Issa Khel, Chahc, Jand etc etc these are place in Attock and Mianwali that predominantly pashto speaking).. So by dividing the land in so many pieces pashtuns cannot have collective voice, therefore, do not have that political weight anymore.. even though pashtuns are second largest ethnic group in paskitan having representation in every field imaginable.. they are economically and educationally much more active than sindhies yet sindhies have much more say than pashtuns..

Baluchies (on the other hand) are much lesser in number, the education numbers in their areas is low and economic activity is almost non-existant. But we know that baluchies can not get along with Punjabies or sindhies, yet they have much more cultural affinity with pashtuns. If both their areas are combined they would have as much populations as sind, which is a much better proposition for the counrty and both the said ethnic groups..

See if we draw a line between pakistan (in the middle of it over indus river) we see that the side close to india (Sind and Punjab) is bareliv, much more liberal, have more in common with hindues, and ethnically are similar to indians.. Now on western side of that line (Bluchs, Pashtuns) we have people who are more conservative (Deobandies), ethnically closer to Central Asia, Cultural closer to afghanistan and Iran (Mainly Afghanistan), and looks wise aswell they are much closer to afghans and iranians.. Actually there was a documentary on this in National Geographic as well.. http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/20.../don-belt-text

Pakistan is a federation (not punjabistan) it should try giving right to as many groups of people as possible.. I do not support smaller provinces.. But since Hndkowans want a province (which is only because the name of NWFP was chnaged, i do not see any other reason). We can have hindkowan areas of KPK and Potoharis from PUnjab join and make a new province. Understand Potohaires and Hindkowans are very similar we have abbasies, Rajas, Awans, Karlals etc etc in both their areas and culturally and religiously, they are also similar so might as well give them a province together with a maximim population of 10 million (i think population may be much lower than this, hence lower than the population of Lahore district). Even though i believe 10 million is not a good population base, but whatever.

In Pkaitsan, they always give example of Afghanistan (when it comes to creation of smaller provinces) but understand that Afghani provcines are more like our districts.. and their districts are like our tehsils..size and population wise.. The most populated Kabul province has population of around 3.5 million. Districts of Mardan, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Multan etc have more population than that..

Finally, Understand that Ghazi Tehsil in Haripur, Ogai Tehsil in Mansehra District and Half of Mansehra Teshil (Manly Northern Mansehra Tehsil), Toor ghar District, and Battagram District are Pashto speaking. 70% of HAripur, 95% of Abbotabad, and Half of Mansehra Teshil and most of Balakot Tehsil in Manshera District are Hindko Speaking, while in Kohistan Northern and Eastern side speak Kohistani, South western is mainly Pashto and remaining are mixed areas. A lot of Kohistanies speak Pashto because Pashtuns are dominant group in trade. So main support of Hazara Povince are Haripur and Abbotabad district and political parties are just using the situation.. below is the ethnic map of the area.

all of th above there is no need for hazara province.
The hindko speakers are minority in hazara division so why should we give our land to them.
50% of hazara are pashtu speaking ,ogy, bafa, tor ghar, agrawar, upper tanawal, batagram, sirikot etc are pashtun dominated areas.
The hindkyaans are 40% in hazara.
The kohistanis are allies of pashtuns and they speak kohistanis and pashtu and make up 6% of hazara the remaining 4% are kashmiris, paharis and dards.
pashtu speaking are in good numbers in chach valley attock they should be part of pashtunkhwa along with mainwali.

See in pakistan the most racist and least trustable people (Believe it or not) are potoharies and Hindkowans.. they dont have any roots.. why keep traitors?.. only give out Hindkowan area.. which i stated in my comment below.. and the rest of the areas stay in KPK.. so we lose a portion of Mansehra, Abbotabad entirely and Haripur minus ghazi tehsil which is pashto (Gudon wali , mashwanies etc ) and stay with KPK. Also terbela dam is mainly in pashtun area (according to international law in whose ever area is storage of water owns the dam.. ) so KPK keeps terbala...

Total Hindkowans in the entire world are not more than 4 million... i know that this province thing is a political gimick.. it wont last.. no numbers.. no economic advantge.. etc etc.. Southern KPK and Saraiki Province makes much more sense than this.. Also if small provinces is such a good idea.. might aswell start with large provinces first not the smallest.. Punjab should be divided first.. in Saraikistan and potohar..
