Ever heard of word national interest?.Disintgration of pakistan is in the national interest of afghans while weak dependent afghanistan is the national interest of pakistan.
Against Pakistan's role in afghanistan, both pashtuns and tajiks are on the same page.
There is demographic imbalance in afghanistan , the majority is not big as bulk of its population ended up in British india in 1893 and subsequently to pakistan. Any afghan would want to restore natural boundaries of Afghanistan and for that disintegration of pakistan is necessary.



This also surprises me. Russians and Afghan communists killed more than 3 million afghans and because of them afghanistan has been in the state of war for last 4 decades yet for urban afghans pakistanis are more despicable than any other creature in this world, perhaps it has to do with deep psyche and wounds that are still fresh from durand line division.

Not just urban afghans, pashtuns nationalists like ANPites still cheer for najibullah, the worst pashtuns we saw in 20th century.


Many pakistani pashtuns, the educated ones who prefer pant shirts/jeans ovr khat partoog have high chances of developing identity crisis and low self-esteem. they are misfits in the dominant desi culture and environment of Pakistan.

Tajiks are competent people, it doesnt mean pashtuns are getting enslaved in their own country. Believe me Afghani-pashtun is not insecure like the pakistani one.



Its all about national interests, in international relations a country is not really a friend of another country, its all about diplomacy, trade, national interests etc

If we come to ground reality, pakistan can starve afghanistan with mere blockade and sealing of the border. Afghans are highly dependent on Pakistan, though they wont admit it due to inborn pride. This also means that afghanistan can not go in war with pakistan. For such reason many pashtun nationalsists inculde entire balochistan in their dream map of loy afghanistan.

If Divsison of pashtuns or patition of india had not happened, then afghans would have very good relations with muslims across river indus.

afghanistan is country of mix papulation accross the provinces.
For example ghazni is bordering pashtun dominated areas and known to be pashtun province but the farsibans (tajik and hazara) make up half of the province.
Logar a pashtun province with strong tajik community nearly half.
wardak a pashtun majority province with strong hazara community.
uruzgan has also mix papulation of pashtun and hazaras but the hazaras created ,,daikundi province now.
Paktya strong hold of pashtun but still the capital gardez is full of parsibans.
kabul province is fifty fifty farsibans and pashtuns.
Laghman is nearly half non-pashtun such as pashais,norsitanis and tajiks.
farah is pashtun majority province with strong farsi influence and good numbers tajik.
Many tajiks also lives in surkhrod of nangarhar.Nangarhar is pashtun majority.
Even kandahar is not more then 70% pashtuns.Many tajiks lives there.
The farsi speaking are in clear majority now that including a large number of farsibans pashtuns such as mumadzai,popalzais and others.
Nimroz has mix papulation of pashtun and baluch with a small number of tajiks.
Herat is clear majority of parsibans with small numer of pashtuns.
Badghis,kunduz,baghlan,parwan,kapesa and noristan etc also have many pashtuns but the majority are non-pashtuns.Kunduz has more pashtuns then tajiks.
So my point is how can divide a country like afghanistan?
Let them stay where they are.
Many pashtuns got tajik wives.many tajiks and uzbiks also got pashtun wives.
Dostum got tow pashtun wives.
So it is not easy.
The pure pashtuns are poor and disadvantage.They are mostly living in southren afghanistan.
To creat a pashtun identity the only way is to creat true pashtun identity in the name of pashtunistan or pashtu name pashtunkhwa.

Badgahis is pashtun majority.. and in herat even though Farsi is the main language.. ethnic pashtuns are the largest ethnic group.. (Farsi speaking pashtuns though) Logar, Wardak and Laghman are all pashtun majority.. are you from afghanistan'""?

I have been to herat.Clear majority of farsibans/tajiks.In pashtun zargun many pashtun lives in.The only pashtu speaking pashtun in herat i met were the kandaris and helmond pashtuns recently migrated there due to war.
yes,there are many persanized duranis lives in herat but they are more farsibans then tajiks there.

Wikipedia is completly under control of farsiban.. tehy even claim that tajiks are majority in farah and badgahis?? see in badghais, the four fertile district with highest popultaion density are pashtuns.. how can anyone else be majority there??

everyone knows that central and north eastern afghanistan has lowest population density due to its un-inhabitable weather.. now in ghazni plains and irrigated lands are populated by pashtuns while mountains are populated by Hazaras.. if you look at the ethnic map you would think that they provicne is 50 50. however, you are not considering the population density part.. Pashtuns are constantly being bombarded with the idea that pashtuns are not really majority in certain provinces... which is not the case.. Everything south of Kabul and Badghais is pashtun.. Tajiks include aimaks, qazalbash, farsiwans and even hazara with them to inflate thier own numbers....

See in herat how can tajiks be majority? this is not their trditional home land.. Aimaks are alot in numbers in Herat though.. Ethnically, pashtuns are actually the largest group there..
