Youth can play an important role in today’s politics and political system. According to available statistics in Afghanistan; youths will make up 60 percent of the total voters in the upcoming elections. This is a considerable power and Afghan youths can play a key role in bringing peace, stability and democracy to the country. The young generation of Afghanistan has always expressed their concerns over non-existence of any effective programs or strategy to empower the youths of the country.
Afghanistan’s youths will be in a more advantageous position to participate in the upcoming elections, and should not vote on the basis of race, ethnic background, tribe and language. They should simply vote for the right candidate who can fulfill the wishes of Afghan people.
In your opinion; how crucial is it for youth to vote in the upcoming elections?
