Imran Khan renews call for opening Taliban office, ceasefire

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Saturday renewed the call for opening a Taliban office and announcing a ceasefire, Geo News reported.
Talking to media persons after attending a programme here, Khan said that after the above steps if anyone who commits a breach of the agreement will become exposed.
He also underscored need for taking measures aimed at restoring confidence for holding negotiations with the Taliban.
“If we are really serious in holding talks with the Taliban, a place will be required for the purpose,” he argued, adding the enemies do not want to see peace in Pakistan.
He said that a ‘pro-war lobby’ was at work in Pakistan and many people were being incited against holding dialogue.
Imran Khan observed that the process of peace talks was last disrupted by design by the killing of Naik Muhammand.
The PTI chief said that earlier there was only one group of Taliban and now there are as many as 30 splinter groups.
He said if confidence building measures could be taken with reference to India, why the same is not possible with the Taliban.

How can you negotiate with these marauding thugs who are daily killing innocent people in the streets and what will be the talking points for any such dialogue

1. No parliament, no democracy hence no Nawaz Sharif and no Imran Khan

2. No courts under penal, civil and criminal codes but Qazis and Mullahs to run the judiciary thus no chief justice Iftikar

3. No women in politics, economy, society as woman is only for kitchen and bedroom so no hundreds of female MPs Pakistan has

4. No girls education and no coeducation so Pakistan has to close all universities and thousands of co education schools and colleges

5. No professional army but jihadi groups against India , Israel etc even a secular Afghanistan so no Kyani

6. Demanding sharp knives and swords to cut hands, amputate limbs, slaughter throats, collection of stones to kill adulterers and sticks for public flogging so no police, jails, judicial courts and thus no bureaucracy, executive, legislature, judiciary and thus no government and state. result anarchy, Taliban rule like Afghanistan , US attack and Pakistan burning like Afghanistan

Thinking of dialogue with Taliban is sheer stupidity.

Imran Khan seems to be just as misinformed as his supporters/trolls.

Nek Mohammad was never a partner for peace. He was the one who brought al-Qaeda and other foreign terrorists to Waziristan in the first place. He was the one who brought the war on terror to the so-called tribal areas.

Shehbaz Khan, you must do something. This Shireen Mazari is a dangerously misinformed fanatic and since Imran Khan has no knowledge of the dynamics of this region, she is filling his ears with poisonous half-truths.
