There are many Pashtuns fighting in Syria just likevthere are many Syrians who spent years in Afghanistan fighting USSR and now America.

There was even someone on here that said Pashtuns should go help and fight for the Arabs in Syria. As if we don't got our own problems to deal with seriously why should we interfere in someone else's country and become the 2nd America?

No Pashtun is dumb enough to fight for either Pakistan or India period.

Yes, Pashtun would probably fight agaisnt india, even the ones from Afghanistan, provided you pay the right price. Yes, pashtuns are dumb enough to be manipulated in the name of religion and can also be bought (Like all the other muslims). Pashtuns on both sides of PAk Afghan border have issues and none is better than the other. Pashtuns in Afghanistan are being sidelined.. if you really open your eyes and try to understand. Similarly, pashtuns in pakistan are not getting their rights either.
And this is all pashtuns own fault. We have to get united look beyond tribal lines and try give peaceful future to our children. We all know peace brings prosperity, education and development.

The factor is that the Pashtuns are Muslims. They will go and stand beside any Muslim under attack anywhere; just like our youth went to fight the Soviets in the Afghan mountains.

Maybe the ones in Pakistan since they are more brainwashed by the ISI but defiantly not the Pashtuns from Afghanistan. They have some izat left.

Quetta shura and haqqani network operates from pakistan with support of ISI. The taliban were helped by ISI against northern alliance in 90s. The whole mujahideen resistance against communists was supported , funded and coordinated by ISI and CIA. Hekmatyar was pato of ISI.....Afghans surely have izat , waqar and ghairat, 3 million of them are living as refugees in pakistan and have paki citizenship through bribes.
The rest of afghans sold to their a$$es to russia and its KGB, it was afghan communists who are responsible for death of more than 3 million fellow afghans.

what asad said is true. .we have seen pashtuns fighting in kashmir war 1948, kargil war 1999 and on going kashmir insurgency..

Yes, but rushing headlong into wars without thinking about it is stupidity. Pashtuns should realize (Pakistani Pashtuns particularly) they are being used in the name of religion and politics. Pashtuns should stop fighting the wars that were never theirs.
Why were Pashtuns settled in Gilgit Baltistan ? (it was to counter shias there)
Why are Pashtun areas still included in Baluchistan? (to ensure that they can be used incase balochs try to secede from Pakistan)
Why do Pashtuns have to fight with muhajirs in Karachi (Because Punjabis and Sindhis don’t want to or cannot put up that fight)
The new one is political battle between MQM, PMLN, PPP, ANP and PTI (recently)about creation of Hazara province. What is beyond me in this case is why are they trying to please 3 million hinkowans with 3 NA seats while pashtuns are around 30 million and have around 40 NA seats, maybe it’s because Pashtuns are to divided politically and their land has been divided into four pieces therefore, cannot gather the political mass needed.

The four pieces are FATA, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghnaistan.

One should never be a blind patriot

urdu language or map of pakistan was not given in quran or hadith. Every language and culture should be respected in a country. And if one doesnt get his/her rights they should have an open mind about seceding.
