kashmiries generally dont like any outsiders ruling their land, why should they? that's why today they want a independent kashmir from India, Pakistan, they want to finally be free after so much foreign rule on them. Also culturally they are very different from punjabis or other north indians

Some sources say that many tribals refused to face indian air force bombardment in open fields of punjab.
In 1948 war of kashmir, pashtun tribesmen were sent by pak army to occupy kashmir without giving them heavy and modern weapons. Without suppy line ,tribesmen faced starvation in winters of kashmir. Some sources say that local kashmiris refused to cooperate with these starving invaders, so tribals started looting people. They fought battles with maharaja army and heavily equiped indian army and liberated azad kashmir on their own....while pakistan army didnt go there on orders of their angraiz chief general gracey. At the end cannon fodder aka tribals didnt get any recognition or awards from paki governament while the pak army was given the credit for winning one third of kashmir, faujis were awarded nishan-e-haider and other awards.
Thanks for the history lesson. But I already knew that.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

This picture doesn't look like anything from '65 or '48 wars. Look at the weapons, the tank or even the bandoliers.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostThis picture looks allot like Younus Khalis during the 80's. The man with the long beard. I would say this is the wrong picture.
I've seen pictures of tribals in Kashmir, but they are quite different.

Not to forget recent kargil war 1999 where Pakistan sent many pashtuns in name of kashmir freedom fighter. When INDIAN AIR FORCE bombed their hide outs with LGB, PAK ARMY abondoned them. And stopped sending supplies.. And rest were killed in air strikes and groud operation.

and you say you're not a razakarOriginally posted by asad71 View Post1. In the 1965 Indo-Pak War, Pak military had soldiers from E Bengal, FATA, Baluchistan and NWFP in addition to Punjab. Politics aside, to the people it was a war to protect Muslims from the Hindu infidels.
2. Pashtun Lashkars had rushed into Kashmir in 1948 with the same emotion. They have been fighting the Indian occupation forces in Kashmir standing beside their Kashmiri brethren.Even volunteers from Bangladesh have been fighting in Kashmir as they did against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Today if Pakistan has a war with India, the Pashtuns will instantly rush down the Hindu Kush to fight the Hindus.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
Pashtuns have been shedding their blood and destroying their homeland for the sake of others for over 60 years. As a result, you are a chowkidaar, I am a driver and Pakwatan Panjabi saeb is an industrialist and we polish his children's shoes.
What did the Hindu 'infidels' do to us? Did they try to destroy our culture by introducing foreign ideologies to our children, turning them into murderous thugs? Did they bomb our homeland and displace our peace-loving people? And when our people sought shelter, were they the Hindus who turned them away and burnt their camps? Did the Hindu 'infidels' make one (lar) Pashtun destroy the home of another (bar) Pashtun, dragging both of us into a perpetual state of poverty, ignorance, illiteracy and destitution?
We should wake up and recognise our friends and enemies.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

That's unfair. First of all I am not an industrialist, and my kids in the future will polish their own shoes.
This victim mentality is pathetic and so devoid of logic. Do you think other Punjabis like Nawaz Shareef give me handouts?
My family have land and we worked and made our money. No Punjabi or Pashtun pays our bills.
There is just so much wrong with this post. Sigh.

Quiet you idiot, you dal khor pakis are the biggest Hindus of all time. Sind and Punjab are like a Hindus' paradise, full of Hindu history and legacy. Check your grandfathers true identity paki boy and you'll find a Hindu forebear,
65 year old napakiland has no history or identity.
You're nothing but a Hindu that converted to escape the low caste status your Brahman pimp masters gave your Dravidian great grandmothers. Now you pakis call yourselves Muslims but pakiland brings only shame and disgrace to Muslims.
These pakis and their Hindu obsession is the most curious of self-hatred syndromes i have ever seen.
And what is most peculiar about it is that they think real Muslims share this obsession with them about Hindu India. But an Afghan or Baluch or Arab or anybody else doesnt give a damn about a Hindu, only pakis do because of their self-hatred and inherent inferiority complex.Long Live Baloch Freedom Struggle Until Victory!

You have to pardon our "friend" Asad71; see he's from Bangladesh and he's known as what the Bengalis call "Razakar". These are Pro-Pakistani Bengalis who betrayed their OWN PEOPLE and helped Pakistani Military go round murdering their fellow Bengalis in paramilitary squads. They also assisted Pakistani soldiers commit Sexual violations of not only Bengali Hindus; BUT BENGALI MUSLIM women while they sat and watched cheerfully, stroking their beards and wearing a topee.
He lacks something called SELF RESPECT and more importantly HONOR. This afflicts many brainwashed Bangladeshis who never developed any self esteem.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
