Dear readers,
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Afghan soccer team, and the noble nation of Afghanistan, on their South Asian Football Federation Championship (SAFF).
Today, thousands of Afghan males and females were waiting impatiently in Ghazi stadium Kabul to welcome the Afghan National Soccer Team; after winning the championship in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is worth mentioning that 12 years ago the Taliban were executing innocent people of Afghanistan on the same football field. It is safe to say that some of the changes taking place today were simply unimaginable over a decade ago. We wish that the football team’s success brings unity among all Afghans.
Respectfully,
Hashmat
