Not having what right? Being concerned with your ideology? I wasn't being concerned with your ideology, i was telling you that your ideology has no effect in the dynamics of the pashtun region so there is no point of wasting your time on the pashtun region.

as for the acceptance of the afghans of afghanistan..you need not worry about that neither.

As stated earlier i'm only informing you that your wasting your own timehas the sort of ideologies that they have been working with for the past 40-50 years worked for anyone? are they themselves satisfied with it? no? why is that? because there is not humility in it. afghans need to be reeducated on what sort of ideologies do and do not work for them. that might be difficult, it's not impossible and surely it can be done in lesser time than 30 years and less bloodshed than has been done during those 30 years.

Okay they need to be reeducated, by whom? The West? who has made them the ones who hold the objective truth? Was in God? Because without God there is no objectivity. The reason why there is further bloodsheed in these last 10 years is because of the western democracy than seems to have colonized your mind, you have some sort of inferiority complex given that you find that the liberal west (only predicting by the way you speak) has the answers for Afghanistans when its because of them that 12 years of further bloodshed has been caused! So no your "Reeducation" will not cause less bloodshed it will only be tackled by a stronger force. There is no such thing as "reeducating" masses from any nation without having some sort of army, therefore there will be just as much bloodshed with what your are suggesting should happen.

i don't know about you but i live in the land of kufr and i live very very peacefully and comfortably. more comfortably than i did in the last of islam. the only difference that i see between there and a place like afghanistan is the way people treat those who are not of their religion.

I also lived in Canada, unlike you, I was born their and was raised in their ideology, my pashto is weak and my mother tongue, farsi, i'm not even that strong in but i reject that culture and religion, the religion of liberalism. Your a women, and probably a liberalist whom are people that are not practical, they don't go outside, therefore their views on the situations of the world are unrealistic and therefore need to be rejected. I as an Muslim, Islamist who tried to be nice to everyone was rejected by liberalists, Christians, and other denominations, i didn't care i'm just stating the reality.

millions and millions of muslims live in india. if tomorrow there came a hindu version of jizya for muslims, no muslim or afghan living there will like it. and i am sure that none of you will go to hell for the sole purpose of not beating jizya out of the hindus in afghanistan. correct the rest of what is wrong (and we all know there is plenty to choose from) and going against the sharia in afghanistan. redeem yourself that way.

Stupid comparison because in India there isn't a way to do that, given they have no system to take money in such a way, furthermore in America, Canada, and other European countries they take taxes from the people, including Muslims. The difference is that the Jizya is paid for protection of rights and self, where Muslims are obliged to protect the dhimmi. That isn't the case in the West at all where we can see Muslims are being beaten and killed and there is no way to establish justice for the Muslims. Muslims are being imprisonned unjustly such as people like Shiekh Ali At Tamimi and Tarek Mehanna. So no, Muslims don't have the same rights that their sharia gives to non Muslims.

if we don't punish them for not being muslims and don't demand for them to submit to us and consider us their superiors, there will be no threat. if you demand that they do either of those two, it will oppress them and give them reason enough to be threatened by us and raise against us.
and please don't lie, last i checked, churches and synagogues were burnt down to the ground. you are not allowing them a single seat in the parliament because you don't consider them your equals, why should they come to you for justice? places of worship implementing laws have not worked for us, why should they work for them?

nothing has driven me away from my religion. that too is a subject you need not be worried about.
The Muslim is not like the Mushrik, in many ways, but especially in legislation. The Muslims are not treated with equality in the west, unless they forfeit their religious practices, and seriously there is no such thing as equality in the first place, there is only equity. Furthermore, the Islamic sharia has worked for us, as i've told Baldun, for 200 years secularism has been introduced in our lands. Have the statistics of education, peace, security risen? Have the statistics for poverty and violence decreased? the answer is a no therefore it shows that the secularist, liberal, and other laws have NOT worked for us while when the sharia was established it did work for us. Thats why you find that christians and Jews used to come for us for rulings.

I will post sources for my last points later on, for now i don't have time.

Oh really? Churches and synagogues were burnt? since you "checked" it out than it shouldn't be a problem for you to retrieve the sources that state that churches and synagogues were burnt in addition to adding Islamic sources that state that to be an obligation. If you can't retrieve that than your a liar.

Your the one who mentioned that you reject sharia , therefore you brought it on yourself to be questioned on your beliefs and viewpoints. If you didn't want to be questioned, you shouldn't have mentioned it in the first place.

This is why most women can't be proper academics, they keep bringing their emotions and attitudes into academic discourse.

I now recognize you very well. You want all this Islamism and terrorism for us Pashtuns and saving your Tajiks and others. You said above

You do not let a Pashtun to have a say on Pashtun dynamics but you your self being a non Pashtun become expert and consultant on Pashtun affairs. Why you do not introduce your Islamism to non Pashtuns ands your parsiwans and tajiks who are enjoying life while the poor Pashtuns because of advisors like you are living in the hell of Islamism, terrorism and extremism.

I am not at all convinced that Islamism worked for us and secualrism or democracy will never work. What kind of Islam are you talking about. The one Ali and Ayesha fought each other, the one the Imam Hussain was brutally killed, the Islam of Yazeed, Hajaj, Marwan, other Abassids, umayyads , fatimids, Ottomans of which Islam you are talking about.

So far only in Turkey you have secular democracy and Turkey is the only super power of the Islamic world. The most religious state is Somalia and Sudan and you know where they lie in development and human well being.

Other Muslim countries have so far not seen true secularism or true democracy. Few like Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh are better because of some democracy while central Asian states are better because of secularism.

it's an assumption when you say that every single on of us who are living in the west are either miserable due to ill treatment or are mushirks.
it's an assumption and a very stupid one that you ought to be ashamed of too when you think because i am a woman, i don't go outside and that i am unaware and have no knowledge of what is happening around me or outside my house. (you would like for me to be that way, but fortunately, i am not)

This is why most women can't be proper academics, they keep bringing their emotions and attitudes into academic discourse.
i can't say i am glad to have a snapshot of the sort of women you were raised around and by. that is pathetic and explains pretty much everything about why you believe the things that you believe.
having said that, i would like to end this conversation. i have said everything that i needed to say and there is no point in me to waste my time and patience any further by arguing with an individual who was "born and raised" in the west but fails to state the difference between "their" and "there". i have made that mistake and the past and have learnt from it quiet well.

what stupid tribalism, My mother tongue is farsi but thats because my paternal grand fathers roots are from Bukhara, they fled from there and went to Kabul! My mother is from Jalalabad, her parents know fluent pashto and the only reason she speaks farsi is because people from Jalalabad (at least the city) speak both languages well and her parents only spoke to her in Farsi and she didn't grow up in Canada (her other older siblings know pashto because they grew up in Jalalabad). Even my paternal grandfather on his maternal side is Kandahari and my paternal grandmother is 100% Pashtun! So at least 80 percent of my genetic make up is pashtun, and thats why pashtuns from everywhere (even when I go to Kabul) speak to me in Pashtu!

Because of the Bold, you are a kafir. only because of stating "the Islam of Ali and Ayesha fought over" first they did not fight but that implies that they fighting was unjustified and the actions of such sahabi were wrong, that is kufr. No doubt when I say Islam I include the Islam of the Quran, Sunnah and the khulafa arashidun have implemented.

In addition, mentioning Somalia and Sudan don't help you in your case, for one Islamists in Somalia haven't been allowed to fully exercise its capabilities (and I disagree that they are the most religious community, their tribalism is 1000% worse than what is in Afghanistan) because every time they do try, an invasion occurs! Its the sunnah of the kuffar these days, every time the insurgents are close to take over a whole of a country, an invasion occurs, Afghanistan, somalia, and recently Syria are examples. Countries, especially as broken as Afghanistan and Somalia, don't build themselves over a few days. Thats the problem with Muslims, they want over night changes, for the sake of Allah not even America saw over night changes! It took a good 20-30 years for the ruling of the Prophet + Khulafa ARashidun to be successful in the sense of worldly gains. It took America at least 150 years to become something super.

That was a stupid article, primarily because you said that we've burnt a lot of churches and synagogues and you first posted a anti-islam website with absolutely no credibility, and second nothing in that article stated Muslims burnt a mosque or a church. You need to take out some credible historical sources when Muslims were actually ruling over kuffar.

secondly, your point of me making the mistake "there" and "their" is a tactic used by people when they want to take low blows. From a few of your posts you've made plenty of grammar mistakes.

And it seems you don't even have a solution that is based on an ideology, therefore your thoughts on the matters of Afghanistan are irrelevant. You don't provide anything realistic and practical other than "we need to live peaceful and with equality" liberal hippie crap that has no place in the real world.

and no, i don't care if your educated or not, that has nothing to do with me and is none of my business. However in Afghanistan and in the Muslim world it does matter that education isn't used to push an anti religious sentiment in the minds of people, as it is in the west. I promote education for women where it fits the nature of women, such as studying history, science, medicine, and other fields.

All the things you mentioned to be part of the sharia, is not part of the sharia such as a women being stoned after she has been raped.

As i've stated, since the Ottomans adopted secularism and have been diseased by it 200 years ago, forfeiting the sharia, we've been on a down hill. Before we were rich, powerful, and feared (thats a good thing in this crazy world we live in) and than slowly by slowly the Muslims left the sharia and the book of Allah leading to the mess we live in now.

I live in UAE now, and I go through Sharjah and Dubai. Sharjah and Dubai have some major difference, one being that Sharjah is much more religious in a few matters that Dubai isn't and Wallahi they are like two separate countries! One is an utter wreck socially, and has a lot of corruption and other problems, as for Sharjah, it has its problems but it has a lot of security and barely any violence. Of course there are problems, but one has less than the other.

Finally, I wasn't treated badly by westerners, i was only shunned for being a Muslim in the truest sense. I didn't enforce my beliefs on anyone but its natural for human beings to accept and socialize with people that have the same qualities and mannerisms that they do.

as for my comment on women, i'm not apologizing for it , i stand by my point, but i meant to say "some" women and not most. My comment on women really have nothing to do with who i was brought up with, it has to do with me being exposed to my own classmates in the Canadian education system. The fact is women are emotional, and tend to easily mix that in their opinions. I've seen it plenty of times.

everybody, this girl has no idea what the jizya is for. Its not there for the kuffar to become weak and impoverished. If that was so, when the Jews of andalus were being persecuted by the Catholics, why did they flee to the Ottomons and also praise them and call other jews? Why was the golden age of Judaism in Muslim Al andalus? As well, in the time of Umar ibn Al Khattab there was a jewish man who couldn't pay the jizya, so you know what happened? The Jewish man who was poor, he gave him money and every month he gave him money so he can survive! In addition the jizya was also paid for protection. When the Muslims were fighting the romans in the levant, they couldn't protect this one tribe they ruled before so they told them "sorry we can't protect you therefore were not going to take jizya from you anymore" the Christians didn't want the Muslims to go! They said they find more justice with them than their own christian brothers!

In germany, there was a poet who made a poem where he wished for the Ottomons to come and conquer them, take them out of the darkness of the Europeans were ruling by.

I'm curious though, what are these "very basic things in life" that 100's of people like me don't get but ultra superior people like you do?

You haven't really answered much, the red that you made bold you don't have an answer for, because its the accepted norm in the west you feel that it is not to questioned and whoever does go against this statement of "equality" is just stupid. There is no such thing as equality, there is equity. A child should not be treated like an adult, a man should not be treated like a women and vice versa, all of them have their rights that are befitting according to their nature.

By any definition you are not a Pashtun. You do not speak Pashto as people speak Pashto to you. Your family comes from Bukhara. Even your mother does not speak Pashto. This is not tribalism , its identity. In Quran you are allowed to have your tribal identity.

Please go to Tajiks, Bukhara and others and leave poor Pashtuns. Do not inject further your obscurantism into them. If you are a real Islamist then go to those who will understand your language. If you are an enemy pf Pashtuns that Tajiks will enjoy life but Pashtuns will burn then you are identified very well and we as Pashtuns will not let you to poison us further. Pashtuns have already suffered a lot and now want to enjoy life like Tajiks and Panjabis do.

Do you deny the history by rejecting the war of camel(jamal) between Hazrat Ayesha and Hazrat Ali? Was Imam Hussain not martyred by the son of Muyawaya? Did Abbasids did not dig up the graves of Umayyads?

This was all power game, realpolitik, realism and nothing to do with the religion of Islam. The religion of Islam was represented by people like Abu Harira, Abuzar, Abdullah Ibne Masood, Ashab e Suffa, Imam Jafar sadiq, Imam Malik, Imam Abu Hanifa etc not by those rulers and power hungry bandits.

The first 4 caliphs can be called pious but even they were murdered and there were differences between Hazrat Abubakar, Ali, Usman and Umar.

Please separate Islam from politics and you will have success in both. Mixing both will destroy both as we see in the Muslim world. This is why Imam Abu Hanifa refured to be the chief judge of the ruler of that time.

Non-Muslim Rights in the Ottoman Empire
Dec. 21 Ottoman History 10 comments
Much like previous Muslim Empires, the Ottomans showed great toleration and acceptance of non-Muslim communities in their empire. This is based on existing Muslim laws regarding the status of non-Muslims. They are protected, given religious freedoms, and free from persecution according to the Shariah. One of the first precedents of this was the Treaty of Umar ibn al-Khattab, in which he guaranteed the Christians of Jerusalem total religious freedom and safety.

                    The Millet System
The first instance of the Ottomans having to rule a large number of Christians was after the conquest of Constantinople by Sultan Mehmed II in 1453. Constantinople had historically been the center of the Orthodox Christian world, and still had a large Christian population. As the empire grew into Europe, more and more non-Muslims came under Ottoman authority. For example, in the 1530s, over 80% of the population in Ottoman Europe was not Muslim. In order to deal with these new Ottoman subjects, Mehmed instituted a new system, later called the millet system.

This portrait of Mehmed II was painted by an Italian Christian, Gentile Bellini

Under this system, each religious group was organized into a millet. Millet comes from the Arabic word for “nation”, indicating that the Ottomans considered themselves the protectors of multiple nations. Each religious group was considered its own millet, with multiple millets existing in the empire. For example, all Orthodox Christians in the Ottoman Empire were considered as constituting a millet, while all Jews constituted another millet.

Each millet was allowed to elect its own religious figure to lead them. In the case of the Orthodox Church (the biggest Church in the Ottoman Empire), the Orthodox Patriarch (the Archbishop of Constantinople) was the elected leader of the millet. The leaders of the millets were allowed to enforce their own religion’s rules on their people. Islamic law (Shariah) had no jurisdiction over non-Muslims in the Ottoman Empire.

In cases of crime, people would be punished according to the rules of their own religion, not Islamic rules or rules of other religions. For example, if a Christian were to steal, he would be punished according to the Christian laws regarding theft. If a Jew were to steal, he were to be punished according to Jewish laws, etc. The only time Islamic law would come into account was if the criminal was a Muslim, or when there was a case involving two people from different millets. In that case, a Muslim judge was to preside over the case and judge according to his best judgement and common law.

In addition to religious law, millets were given freedom to use their own language, develop their own institutions (churches, schools, etc), and collect taxes. The Ottoman sultan only exercised control over the millets through their leaders. The millet leaders ultimately reported to the sultan, and if there was a problem with a millet, the sultan would consult that millet leader. Theoretically, the Muslim population of the Ottoman Empire also constituted a millet, with the Ottoman sultan as the millet leader.

                    Legacy
The Ottoman Empire lasted from 1300 to 1922. Throughout most of this history, the millet system provided a system of religious harmony and belonging throughout the empire. As the empire expanded, more millets were organized. Separate millets existed for Armenian, Catholic, and Orthodox Christians, for example, with each sect being divided further into more specific regional churches.

These imperial decrees by the Ottoman sultans Mehmed II and Bayezid II granted the Greek community ownership of the church. The decrees and church remain in Istanbul today.

The millet system did not last until the end of the Ottoman Empire. As the empire weakened in the 1700s and 1800s, European intervention in the empire expanded. When the liberal Tanzimat were passed in the 1800s, the millet system was abolished, in favor of a more European-style secularist government. The Ottomans were forced to guarantee vague “rights” to religious minorities, which in fact limited their freedoms. Instead of being allowed to rule themselves according to their own rules, all religious groups were forced to follow the same set of secular laws. This actually ended up causing more religious tension in the empire, which was one of the causes of the genocide of the Armenians during World War One in the Ottoman Empire’s dying days.

The millet system was a unique and creative solution to running a multi-ethnic and multi-religious empire. The rights and freedoms it gave to religious minorities were far ahead of their time. While Europe struggled with religious persecution into the 1900s, the Ottomans created a harm

This is coming from the same person who said hes from India that knows the pashtun culture to a Pashtun who can decide who is and isn't pashtun!

Ethnically, i'm more Pashtun than uzbek (bukhara is in Uzbekistan) and I'm from Kabul. My mother does know pashtu, so does my father they learned it late. The language, although it plays an important role when identifying who is pashtun and who isn't, when i go around in the Kabul and Jalalabad pashtun tribes eveyone accepts me. If anyone were going to reject whether i'm accepted or not it would have been them. In addition, i'd support the sharia everywhere but the Pashtuns are the main players in Afghanistan at the moment and the Uzbeks and Tajiks are morally corrupt so there isn't anyone to support there.

You can't seperate Islam from politics, thats clear kufr. the battle of the camel was not instigated by Aisha or Ali but the killers of Uthman. The Quran even mentions "fighting between two believing camps". What Ali fought for was just and he wasn't in the wrong, saying that he was wrong amounts to calling the Quran wrong. Your a kafir for other reasons other than this. You've insulted islam many times. As for hajaj and the martyrdom of Hussein, yeah that is not what i'm talking about so i have no idea why you are mentioning it.

in order for you not to lose sleep over the fear of others practicing their religion, you need to be and convinced that they are not a threat to you. you consider women incapable of understanding current events, what is right or wrong and the nature life. you don't consider them proper academics. in conclusion, all of the above have been claimed by you and by those very terms you are declared a mindless moron. a mindless dumbass of a moron will be treated accordingly wherever he goes. it will have nothing to do with his religous beliefs or ethnical background. however, he will make it seem otherwise because he is too much of a moron to realize he is wrong and to wallow in self pity or blame others, he needs an excuse.
would you like me to educate you further or do you think we have reached an understanding??

Practice your Pashto and think over the real situation in Afghanistan. Non Pashtun areas are preparing for elections and power while Pashtuns have a lukewarm approach. I wish Pashtuns fully participate in the elections and grab maximum power.

Who except Taliban for you rule by what Allah has sent? Show me any country in the Muslim world who meets this standard? It means except Taliban all other Muslims are disbelievers and Islam after 1400 years is now restricted only to few thousands of Pashtun Taliban. Is it so?

For me this verse means your personal life, morality and religious aspects of life not political otherwise we have to declare the whole Muslim world as disbelieving except Taliban!
yeah, i'm done talking with you and your blatant hate for islam. Not interested.
