representing a community is not something that is detestable in the sharia (at least nothing i've read) they can have their own community leaders but they'd have to still abide by the sharia and pay the jizyaOriginally posted by DaZahroJaam. View Post500?? what a moron. even if their population is 10 and they are citizens of afghanistan, they should be given a seat so someone of their own can represent them.
but having kuffar have a say over MUSLIM affairs and be forces of power in that region is ridiculous. As Allah says that the Muslimeen are not like the mujrimeen (i.e the criminals, shirk being the worst of crimes)

everything else is going so well according to sharia and law (yes, I purposely put them separately; I refuse to recognize sharia law!) that we make them pay jizya for asking to be represented.
This attitude is exactly why they need to be given a seat of their own and be represented by one of their own. Okay?? There are plenty of seats for everybody else to hog on.

Does anyone know the number of Bahaiis in Afghanistan? Long story but we've got friends who are Afghan Bahaii married to both Iranian Bahaii and Pakistani Bahaii families. To my understanding this religious community has kept an even lower profile (smaller numbers?) than the Hindus and Sikhs. Maybe they don't get noticed because they 'blend' more easily. They are, however, distinct from Muslims.

obviously, not you. i am not here to get anyone to care for my opinion of anything. i want to suggest why a situation that we have at hand might not be working. this nonsense that you associate yourself with in the name of religion affects me and other people in my country and i have the right to speak against it. whether you like it or not. and most definitely when you don't.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostWho cares what you think about our religion?

this makes little to no sense. I don't believe you understand me at all. They don't pay jizya so they can represent us rather they pay jizya as their own community and such a community should have leaders because who would than pay the jizya in full? Furthermore the jizya is paid so it is known that the other religious minorities have submitted to the Muslim authority and they are of no threat to the Muslims. In addition, the multiple religious communities can maintain their religion in their temples/synagogues/churches i.e places of worship and are allowed to implement their own laws and if they wish they can come to our courts.Originally posted by DaZahroJaam. I'm telling you for your own good and so you can wake up, that the ideology and thought pattern that your pushing forth will not win over the religious nor the non religious folk in Afghanistan. Its better you just quit, the people in Afg are getting more religious by the day and a lot of them reject your views.Originally posted by DaZahroJaam. If you want to push this kind of thinking keep it in the lands of kufr, because it will never have a place in Afghanistan.

Are muslims given any seats in senates and assemblies internationally? Unless they win a popular vote (answer is no) or are a very significant minority (Not many hindues and Sikhs in Afghanistan). No issues with giving anyone seats in upper or lower house, but they have to win a popular vote. I belive since west is influecning every aspect of afghanistan affairs. They along with other ethnic groups would make sure that seats are given to every tom, **** and harry, but not pashtuns. They are creating this rift between pashtuns and other minorities in AFghanistan and giving what was rightfully pashtuns to other, since they know that pashtun would not accept foreign dictation.Originally posted by Khorosani View Postrepresenting a community is not something that is detestable in the sharia (at least nothing i've read) they can have their own community leaders but they'd have to still abide by the sharia and pay the jizya

well, i believe any Muslim, even if they are arabs, chechnyas, uzbekis, Pakistanis, baluchis , africans, and of course dari, farsi, and pashtu speaking MUSLIMS (thats the key) are allowed to have a say in the affairs of Afghanistan if they live in the area, have an understanding of the culture, and most importantly know the sharia.Originally posted by Tiger Khan View PostAre muslims given any seats in senates and assemblies internationally? to add to your point, not only are Muslims not allowed to have a seat in parlament, islamists in the UK, Canada, or the US would never be allowed to have seats in the government unless they sell their religion and adopt theirs (i.e secularism) but also Muslims are not even allowed to apply their own laws in their own communities! There only a handful of countries that allow doing so.
In the land of the Muslims, the religious minorities have that right to rule by their own books and laws and worship in their temples and say whatever kufr they want in their. That's not found in other religions (especially secular democracy where they don't only not allow you to rule in their land but they wont even let you rule sharia in your OWN land)
Pashtun and Punjabi secularists are such fools.

besides not having the right, you also need not be concerned about what ideologies i should or should not believe in or what sort of thought pattern is good for me or not. and most definitely not the right to tell me what i should quit or carry on with. as for the acceptance of the afghans of afghanistan..you need not worry about that neither. has the sort of ideologies that they have been working with for the past 40-50 years worked for anyone? are they themselves satisfied with it? no? why is that? because there is not humility in it. afghans need to be reeducated on what sort of ideologies do and do not work for them. that might be difficult, it's not impossible and surely it can be done in lesser time than 30 years and less bloodshed than has been done during those 30 years.Originally posted by Khorosani View PostI'm telling you for your own good and so you can wake up, that the ideology and thought pattern that your pushing forth will not win over the religious nor the non religious folk in Afghanistan. i don't know about you but i live in the land of kufr and i live very very peacefully and comfortably. more comfortably than i did in the last of islam. the only difference that i see between there and a place like afghanistan is the way people treat those who are not of their religion.
millions and millions of muslims live in india. if tomorrow there came a hindu version of jizya for muslims, no muslim or afghan living there will like it. and i am sure that none of you will go to hell for the sole purpose of not beating jizya out of the hindus in afghanistan. correct the rest of what is wrong (and we all know there is plenty to choose from) and going against the sharia in afghanistan. redeem yourself that way.
if we don't punish them for not being muslims and don't demand for them to submit to us and consider us their superiors, there will be no threat. if you demand that they do either of those two, it will oppress them and give them reason enough to be threatened by us and raise against us.Originally posted by Khorosani View Postthis makes little to no sense. and please don't lie, last i checked, churches and synagogues were burnt down to the ground. you are not allowing them a single seat in the parliament because you don't consider them your equals, why should they come to you for justice? places of worship implementing laws have not worked for us, why should they work for them?
nothing has driven me away from my religion. that too is a subject you need not be worried about.
