  • Mullah Omar tells truth about Afghan "election"

Showing classic Pashtun good sense, Mullah Omar says :

"Our pious and Mujahid people know that selection, de facto, takes place in Washington. These nominal rulers are not elected through the ballots of the people.

Rather, they are selected as per the discretion of Washington!

Participation in such elections is only a waste of time, nothing more."

      Yet how was he selected?

Well. Afghan taliban are fighting accupational forces. Moreover, Tajiks in afghanistan have always sided with outsiders. Pashtuns make up more than sixty percent of the population of the country (as they populate most high population density areas, especially cultivable land) yet all the government posts are given to minorities.
What really drives me hazy is it me or are the others crazy

I keep hearing that pashtuns are 60% in Afghanistan but i thought it was 42%? or is that from an old census? I want to know where this 60% came from...

However i assure you as the war progresses. All the number would change and when invaders are defeated pashtuns would seem 200% of the population. During afghan war with russia, american were showing 70-75% of the population as pashtun, while when americans invaded afghanistan and gave power to the northern minorities there publications were showing 38% of the populations as pashtun. Some even showed pashtuns as 35% of the population, while tajiks were shown as 37%. Now we are seeing an upward trend i.e. 42%. This is a number game, that nations like to play to gain legitamacy.

                  60% is a fantasy.

The truth is, even the majority of Pashtuns from the South no longer live there. There are millions of Pashtuns living in exile.

Pashtuns are no longer the largest ethicity in Afghanistan. Tajiks and Aymaqs together with Uzbeks and Hazara's are in much larger numbers.

What Pashtuns need to do is to stop talking rubbish about who is superior and who is a true patriot or nationalist and back up and move back to Afghanistan.

If you have any skill other than talking rubbish then please make yourself useful in your own homeland.

Pashtuns are suffering from our own oppression and injustice. We are in dire need of help.

Yet as soon as a Pashtun learns a skill, he quickly uses it against his own people because of jealousy and hatred. This is why Pashtuns are such a mess. We are the real cause of our failures.
