    Independence Day!

    Digital Engagement Team at Centcom is delighted to convey its best wishes to all Afghans for a safe and happy 94th Independence Day.
    This is an opportunity to reflect on your achievements and recommit to a future of greater development, security, stability, economic growth and everlasting peace.
    Being independent, however, does not mean being alone. The United States and its allies will remain side by side with the people of Afghanistan to eradicate terrorism and its roots a common enemy from the region.

          Do you think its an occupation or joint struggle against the common enemy. The common enemy was there before the arrival of US. Read this part of the message

            Terrorism is an imaginary boogie man ; the reality is the U.S. manufactured these 'terrorists" by C.I.A operation to indoctrinate people with extremist ideologies. It is really a scapegoat. So that means yes it is an occupation; the common enemy are the ones occupying.

                how insulting. this is the idea of independence that they want afghans to get used to. this is apparently as good as it does and should get for afghans.

                  There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
