Lol about Tolo doesn't take sides. Its anti-Pashtuness could not get any more blatant, although it has been more subtle recently. "Dashti [a Panjsheri fanatic] said Tolo doesn't take side" is laughable and every reason to prove otherwise. lol
Because Tolo has imbued anti-Pashtun propaganda and political incitement and prejudice, I hope when we finally have a truly representative government a just retribution is sought against it. A proper media entity is expected to reflect truth and exercise non-bias and should mean being non-selective/subjective. There is has been numerous occasions since the onset of Afghanistan's occupation when they (Tolo, Lemar/MOBY Group) have selectively ignored or distorted facts when particular ethnic group Pashtuns' were committed crimes against and their human rights violated, which effectively implicate them taking side.
One still wonders if this has been part of the agenda of the international who have been backing and funding these media entities, or the have failed to ask them through conditioning their support to enforce standards which is very important in current environment in Afghanistan.

Rupert Murdoch, the guy responsible for Fox News made Tolo. Obviously tolo is against Pashtuns because Pashtuns are the flagship of Islamism.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. In 2002, the founders of MOBY Group turned their attention to what they could do in the nation of their birth, Afghanistan. Today over 900 employees, 300 clients and competitors across 30 countries will tell you what they have achieved– they have made people laugh, cry, think, sing, act, opened doors and minds.
MOBY Group is a privately owned entity established by the Mohseni family. It owns and operates some of the biggest brands in Afghanistan, as well as two pan-regional Farsi satellite entertainment channels in a joint venture with News Corporation. MOBY specialises in reaching the millions of Dari, Farsi, Pashto and English speakers across the Middle East and Central Asia.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. the founders of Tolo were bankrolled by USAID to spread their venom:
Effective Partnerships. One key to success is obvious: partnering with the right people. Officials at USAID’s OTI point to their experience in Afghanistan with Moby Media Group, a private business group founded in 2002 by the expatriate Mohseni family. Four Mohseni family members left behind lives in Australia and returned to Afghanistan “to ‘do their bit’ toward the nation’s redevelopment,” as their Web site states. Using a matching grant from OTI, Moby established two major independent media outlets—Arman FM and Tolo TV. Starting in a region with virtually no advertising market, the stations are now financially successful and reach 80 percent of the national audience. - See more at: http://cima.ned.org/media-developmen....86RVTW1L.dpufOriginally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. My personal friend was in Qatar office.
Taliban are muslims. I as a muslim testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and the Muhammad is his final messenger. Therefor I am obligated to defend any other person who equally testifies to it and acts upon it. Any muslims allegiance and disavowal is based on this testimony.
So even if you turn out to be a decent Muslim who struggles for the cause of Islam i will defend you too. But sadly you are merely posting profanity and slandering and backbiting righteous people.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics.
