Brother, stop with that crap. Pashtuns have been opressing non pashtuns for many centuries. They tried to pashtunize, they cahnged the name of many places in afghanistan, they are opressing our language, our culture, and they dont allow us to become equal citizens.

I am just speaking the truth. Talibanism is your future. Its a fact. Most of pashtuns in south afghanistan have relatives fighting along talibans. Talibans are main and most important pashtun movement in afghanistan. And you know very well talibanism=backwardness. Meanwhile, the rest of afghans are fighting hard in order to get some education and improve their lifes. People in Kabul, Herat, Mazar,.. live one million times better than kandaharis or helmandis.. Its the hard truth.

Granesh, there is a huge difference between "facts" and "assumptions". I don't know anything about my future, neither do you.. now that is a fact. There has been no proper consensus done in Afghanistan since the 1970s.. now that is a fact. You say, that most pashtuns in southern Afghanistan have relatives working with the taliban, now this is a good example of making "Assumptions". First of all, in order for you to come to such conclusion, you would have to meet "MOST" pashtuns in southern Afghanistan.. you would have to know them, understand them etc..study them..conduct research..blah blah..

If you call this improvement then good on you. I'm glad you are fighting for education with a gun.

Now.. here is a fact for you.. I assure you that the only pashtuns you have ever been exposed to are online and i would say majority of them are on this forum. Education is not an alien concept for Pashtuns. I can also assure you that pretty much everyone that i know on this forum have had some sort of education.. lol.. minimum would be bachelors.. most are highly qualified.. we have doctors, engineers, people working in IT.. people doing politics etcc. We don't need to go around tell people about our education or how educated we are.. I'm 22..and im doing my masters now.. in a few years i will do my PHD.. but that's a long term goal.. this would be a life time achievement for you but it's not for me..

Perhaps i'm missing something.. perhaps maybe where you come from.. education might be a new concept and you seem to be so excited about it. well good on you on your achievements.. good one mate!

there were no defense ministers during the time of abdur rahman or habibullah khan. ministry of defense is a new concept of administration. In afghansitan the ministry of defense was officially introduced in 1978
