    Non Sense.

Pashtunwali doesnt Stone Women in 6ft deep graves and it doesnt sell Pashtun women as sex booty to foreigners for a Muslim brotherhood.

    Kind Regards

Yeah I already knew that Maseeda. Somebody tried already. Didnt work out.
But I appologize if I didnt express myself correctly. I wanted to know how to establish secularism in AFG not how Ataturk seperated religion from a state.

By the way turkey is not AFG totally different power constellations etc absolutely incomparable.

Well the concept of Turkish nationalism was still not mature enough to utilize, only the concept of deen was. So Attaturk rallied the Turks behind a "jihad" to liberate Turkey.

Once he controlled Turkey and had established the rule of law, he went about with Turkeys secularization. Granted he had a loyal army and capable bureaucracy...something Afghanistan doesnt have

But thats what Afghanistan should build once they Islamicize/stabilize the country. In time secularization will take place

But it has to be incredibly subtle and gradual

The key thing is to focus modernization and development in regional centres...we cant go back to the way things were before where Kabul was the centre of the universe and everywhere outside Kabul was ancient rural Afghanistan. When you develop Qandahar, Jalalabad, Ghazni, Herat and Mazar into somewhat urbanized developed centres then you will make progress

I thought Pashtunwali is 'almost similar' to Sharia law.

Being hospitable and payback are values that developed on almost every continent. Being hospitable is a cultural aspect this has nothing to do with religion. Do you want me to name countries that are still hospitable but not Islamic?
Oh and BADAL.. Well should I start in Europe or in America? Ill start with Hollywood - how many movies have you seen where leading actor seeks revenge??
Steven Seagal, Arnold, Sly, Van Damme, Charles Bronson, all these classic action and western trash-movies are based on REVENGE which is badal and do you know why? Dont tell me that there is a connection between Islam and Pashtunwali cause in almost every european country revenge was a cultural value, a tradition, it was accepted and tolerated method to deal with a loss of murdered family member, or to regain family honor or for personal respect whatsoever. And please dont make me start with braveheart, leon, 96 hours, romeo and juliet, last samurai, mad max and rio grande whatever. This is evolutional not religious, has nothing to do with each other. These methods of justice were abolished because they are cruel and brutal and today you dont even have to pull the trigger yourself. In modern and human justice systems there is a voltage regulator that can roast and fry a man on a chair for 5-10 minutes or even 20 minutes=)

But whats nanawatee, ghag or badraga? Whats arbakee how do you become one how is the process? Whats tsalweshtee?? Whats waak or machelga? Whats nowkaar or lashkar? how does badal work? how can you make ghag? whats teray and tak? what does that mean if you do nanawatee? If Sharia and Pashtunwali are the same someone please enlighten me.

Amir Al Ghaznavi, We living in the west forget a vital thing, Afghans/Pashtuns are religion enforcing secularism on them is war to them.
i agree. secularism should never be enforced. it should be gradually implemented over several decades
