  • Bales pleads guilty to afghan killings to avoid death penalty

17 of the 22 people he shot in the head were kids and women and he will most definitely walk since death penalty is off the table.

If anyone is going to hammer him, it'll be the military. A civilian court would be more lenient - trust me. As far as Leavenworth - its a federal prison, so its not just soldiers there. And the chubby white guy never has a good time in prison, no matter what prison. But, I do wish they would execute him. Maybe he'll get shanked.

            what the hell

its not like he did the prosecution a favor by pleading guilty to something there was enough evidence to convict him of anyways. i knew from day one that they would never execute a soldier.

good ol boys will stick together, though.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
