Afridi tribe wants freedom from Pakistan

this is typical pakistani tactic.

Pajwak news is crap, has poor quality.

i saw this on defence.npk and there they are raising this same issue.

So what? why they would want to believe in any news that is not published in any pakistani or international newspaper...the question is were they tribal leaders to begin with? Any afghanistan tv channel has reported it? Have they interviewed them for channel? Any video of that interview if it exists at all?....let me tell you one thing, pakistani media takes such kind of news very seriously if there is credibility to it...recently altaf bhai warned of separating karachi from pakistan and it was discussed for days in the media.

the fact it is not on pakistani media is because pakistani media is fully controlled and especially the news that comes from pukhtunkhwa goes through certain filters and checks.

Its FATA, access to which is denied for media by army without their permission. So they accept ISPR statements whether there is truth in it or not.....it is selective when it comes to army and MQM, but is not exaggerating and making up things like pajwak and that iranian press tv.

i also thought that afridis were some fo the most pro pakistanis but if they are fed up with the napak state than im sure other tribes are more fed up.

If it comes to that stage i would be the first to inform you on that. There is certainly boiling but not hint of separatist ambitions.

Momand are already in war with pakistan,so are the afridis yousufzais wazir mehsud marwat etc.

TTP has no separatist ambitions. They want to re-shape pakistan, not break it.

You claimed that TTP is fighting against punjabis but in their recent video i see punjabi adnan rasheed sitting beside ahsanullah ahsan....why punjabi militant organizations like LEJ, LET, sipah e sahaba and jaish e mohamad are allied with TTP?..

why they say "hum muhib-e-watan pakistanio se appeal karte hain k..."?.

Why they ask punjabi nawaz shareef and mohajir munawar hasan to play their role in peace talks. And appreciated punjabi nawaz for his positive response?

Why they call a patriotic paki, AQ khan hero of muslims?...

why hakimullah said "hamaray qaideen ney ye watan islam k liye banaya ta, pakistan ka matlab kia , la ilah ilakah"?....

why hakimullah said that we tribals have great contributions for pakistan liberated kashmir?

Pajhwok might have some bias from time to time but it certainly is more credible than other sources such as ariana tv ,tolo or tv1 news.If this is a lie,why would they lie and mention afridis in particuler?

pakistanis are very conditioned and there news or reporters cant even dare to report. once i was watching this programe which hamid mir was hosting and non of them could dare to discuss the army and everytime someone would hamid mir would jokingly say something to burry it.havent heard about altaf bhai is probably more important not some tribals elders.Once hamid mir said that people in pukhtunkhwa will shoot you if you call them pakistani(this happend when the first operations were happening)after that he was accused of treason,being raw agent,mossad agent and what not.

now to you ispr is more credible than pajhwok and pajhwok cant be compared to presstv since presstv is a government channel while pajhwok is independent news channel.Not to defend pajhwok but they sure have higher quality news than many and are at the scene where others dont dare to go. if you do want to know about biased news sources than look no further than kabul press ,khaama news and such. and to claim that ispr is not exaggerating and lying according to a certain agenda is surely a joke.

I think Afghan authorities/media have made up the bolded part of statement. Afridis may have simply approached the afghan authorities for some kind of help and pressure on Pakistani government and Pajwak news saw the chance in it to make a spicy news out of it or they were simply signaled by Afghan government. Its not the first time, Afghan government is feeding such propaganda to its people ever since 1947, whenever naive Afghans met pro-pakistani pashtuns, they always got shocked and disgusted.......

If you can read urdu , then read what is written orange card in the hand of little girl.......This is the extreme reaction that you would expect from afridis who are not associated with taliban/LI. We are talking about a tribe highly integrated into fabric of Pakistani society and economy. If these 200 afridi tribal leaders are really into such thing and that motivated then they should have announced it in a press conference or should have called for a representative jirga of afridi tribe.

Brother kushan i might be just an empty talk, internet is unreliable, members here might be working on their own agendas and might be mixing truth with lies , you have to visit godar and khyber agency by yourself, meet with pashtuns of Quetta and Afridis, ask them the questions that are on your mind.....try to spend few months in Balochistan and KPK, and note down your observations.....it would be more appropiate approach than believing in the words of XYZ unknown person on internet who claims to know about ground realities.... Am i really a pakhtun? May be i am a jat who has learn pakhto and is on some agenda. May be Afridis really want freedom, and my task is to make the news rediculous....

I guess we have to hear it from their mouths before we jump to conclusions. However, several members on here who are from KPK have presented pro Pakistani sentiment on here and have gotten lashed because of it. Especially "SonOfMountains" who was proof of a KPK pashtun who as nothing more then a brainwashed delinquent of Pakistan. now i am not saying all are pro pakistani but a few are.
